After he passed and new owners ran Dr.Parker off we struggled for years to find a vet we felt comfortable with. Finally found Dr. Hicks less than 2 miles from our house and loved him. Sadly, he sold his practice and we were going to have to start all over to find a good vet. Lol and behold, on Facebook one day, an ad popped up with Dr. Hicks being welcomed to a practice in Elyria. We made an appointment and saw him and it was such a relief. The man is wonderful. A bit far to travel but well worth it for our girls.

Leaving our pets behind is never easy, especially when they’re such a huge part of our family. But knowing they were in such loving, capable hands made all the difference.
We received regular updates and pictures throughout our trip, which gave us so much peace of mind and always made us smile. It was wonderful seeing their little personalities shine through, and it was obvious they were getting plenty of love, attention, and excellent care.
In fact, judging by the pictures and updates, I was starting to worry that our pets wouldn’t even want us to come home! Apparently, we were the ones on vacation, but they were the ones receiving five-star accommodations and personalized concierge service.
It’s one thing to have someone feed and look after your pets, but it’s another to have someone genuinely care about them like they’re their own. That’s exactly what we experienced with Cuddles and Care.
Ten years later, they’re still providing the same wonderful, dependable care I remembered. Being able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our animals was absolutely priceless.
I would recommend Cuddles and Care in a heartbeat! We’ll definitely be using them again, assuming our pets haven’t already filed paperwork requesting new ownership. ❤🐾

2170 North Ridge Road, ElyriaFour of us walked into George’s Family Restaurant hungry, and we walked out happy, full, and pleasantly surprised by the bill.
This is a real local place. No chain, no gimmicks, just a family restaurant doing breakfast right. We ordered pancakes, French toast, bacon, and more food than four people should probably order. All of it came out fast and hot, and it was better than we expected.
Our servers were quick and friendly, and our coffee cups never got close to empty. The coffee was excellent, too, not the burnt diner coffee you get used to on the road.
And the prices are extremely affordable. Four of us ate breakfast for less than some places charge for two.
If you’re in Elyria or just driving through, go to George’s. Support the local spot, order the French toast, and get a second cup of coffee.

827 Cleveland Street, ElyriaAngel was so nice but Ruben was just a sweetheart. The food was delicious but the amount of lechon on the Cuban sandwich was astounding. Every single bite was perfection. Even homemade pickles and was so delicious. We live in Fremont but we will definitely come back to Elyria specifically to eat here again. Do your tummy a favor and please try Cubano King!!!!

I sat at the bar for an early dinner and immediately noticed a very comfortable atmosphere which I was then greeted by a very nice young lady named Tina. I just went back through my receipts to find her name. (Should speak for itself) I was recommended the Smitty's Burger which had an excellent sauce and an on target amount. The burger was delicious. Cooked perfectly. I had a side of coleslaw which I added just a little to the burger and absolutely no complaints from me. To top it off I loved the fries which isn't common for me. Especially the wrinkle fries but they disproved me. Great food, Great people. Great spot.

They delivered my food for my party of 30 people right on time....the delivery guy was extremely helpful and kind, and assisted me with where to place the trays in my kitchen etc. It was a pleasure to see someone assist and not drop and go....Everyone loved the food..it was fresh...delicious ..and the cannolis were soooo good that they were gone before everyone got done eating...LOLOL,,,.Thanks to everyone at Angelina's I will use you again and I suggested to someone else at my party to use you as well for their next event ..KUDOS!!!
