Checked him out and figured out he had a disc problem, she gave him some steroids and he got better. We thought he was a gonner but he's so much better. If you need a vet see Dr. V.

Porter Pet Hospital
27529 Lorain Road, North OlmstedThis is truly a phenomal place. I have never in my life been to a pet hospital where they care the way Porter cares. It all started on Sunday when i had to bring my cat to the emergency vet due to peeing blood. He ended up having a bladder stone that needed removed. Northviews estimate for surgery was $2500-$4000. My care credit is at its limit due to his heart condition and echos every 6 months. I told them I could not proceed with the surgery due to funds, and I would see if another clinic could do it a bit cheaper. I’ve heard many good things about Porter Pet Hospital and decided to give them a call on Tuesday. They got my info and said they could get me in 2 days later on Thursday!- This is totally unheard of! They prioritized him and his situation and got him quick! I am forever grateful. Also- they were willing to do this surgery at a FRACTION of the price that Northview estimated! I was so relieved because I knew my boy Mowgli was in a lot of pain- even on the pain medicine he seemed very uncomfortable. They never kept me in the dark and explained everything extremely thoroughly. They also called and asked if they could spit shine his teeth real quick because surgery had went so well! I was so surprised and thankful.
They were so outstanding and never made me feel silly when I asked many questions about the surgery risk because of his heart condition. They put my mind at ease and never made me feel like I shouldn’t be asking these questions- how some other clinics have been in the past. Every single staff member is an angel. You can tell just how much they love animals & how extremely kind and patient they are. Even with being busy they never made me feel like I was an inconvenience for calling and checking on my boy during the process. If i could give this place 10 stars I would. They went above and beyond which is rare to find these days!! They are absolutely phenomenal and I will never bring my pets anywhere else ever again. I will forever be loyal to Porter ! ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was really impressed with my mother's confidence by the end of just the first session. I highly recommend her piloting method. We can't thank her enough for expertise and then invaluable learnings we took away. It was very much worth the money.

I cannot remember her name but she had long curly hair, she called every local place she could to try and find where I could place my cats. The staff here definitely care for the pets and people they take care of and she was such a great person to help me with such a stressful day.

Drinks and water stayed full and I drink what would be considered an aggressive amount of water 😂 Our burgers and steak we ordered all seemed to be way over cooked/ excessively charred, but it was OK. I would definitely clarify how you want your burgers/ steak cooked by color, etc. and not expect medium to be pink and wouldn’t ask for anything more than medium well or it’s going to be a brick of charcoal 😂 Everything was pretty OK tho, the service was good and that’s all I really expect from a restaurant at this point. Would also be cool if they updated their menu pricing. I think everything we ordered was a dollar to a few dollars more than the prices listed which wasn’t disclosed and this place hasn’t been open long. Prices were still fine, but you should plan accordingly. With a 20% tip for 6 people, 3 kids in there, and ordering pretty modest meals we made it out the door slightly under $100 so it’s a lot more affordable than many places today.
