“I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Extra Space Storage on 1st St. in Springfield, OH. I’ve actually been there twice now, and both times, I left feeling like I made the right choice , not just because the place is clean and the prices are reasonable (though they absolutely are), but because of the people who work there.
On my first visit, I went in just to check out a unit. DJ, the assistant manager, was the one who showed me around. From the moment we started talking, I could tell customer service was absolutely his thing. He didn’t just rattle off facts or rush me through the process. DJ took his time, explained everything clearly, and made me feel totally at ease, like I wasn’t just another person coming through the door. Sometimes you can tell when someone cares about their job, and, more importantly, cares about the people they’re helping. That’s exactly what I got from DJ. I felt listened to and respected the entire time.
When I came back to actually rent the unit, Britney the manager helped me. Britney has this amazing way of making you feel right at home. She didn’t just handle my paperwork; she asked questions, made conversation, and really connected with me as a person. She made it clear my business mattered, and, honestly, those small gestures matter just as much as a good deal or a spotless facility. The process felt easy, and I walked away feeling confident that my stuff was not just safe, but valued.
Sure, every storage place will promise climate control and good prices and security. But being able to trust the people you’re doing business with? That’s rare. At Extra Space Storage on 1st St., it feels like you’re more than just a number. Both DJ and Britney go out of their way to make a personal connection. and that’s what truly sets this place apart.
If you want a storage facility that’s as big on customer care as it is on value and cleanliness, this is the spot. I highly recommend it, and I think you’ll leave feeling just as good about your decision as I did.”

“I was in short-notice need of storage while approaching the time that I move out of my present residence to allow for remodeling. I spoke with Angie who gladly showed me available spaces and their price ranges. She worked so well with my situation in regards to timeframe and military discounts. Restrictions were covered well and how to provide notification once I'm ready to vacate the storage area. It was a very pleasant experience. In the future, should the need arise I won't hesitate to come back to Storage Inns of America. I also had the pleasure of witnessing some serious multi-tasking by Angie as she dealt with three customers at the same time. What professionalism and excellence at work!!!”

“I have had my stuff there for almost 2 years and have changed units 2x they were decently priced when I first got my unit and when I changed units but since then they have upped the price by $40 and there is never anyone there on site in case u have a question or something and I have checked i can get a cheaper unit and have thought about moving but I don't want to cause I'm the kinda person that if it's working stay with it but $40 increase is kinda ridiculous”

“I left UHaul to store my belongings here and I absolutely do not regret my choice. The facility is well managed, well kept and QUIET. I have yet to have an unpleasant encounter or experience with anyone in the main office which is more than I can say for “the other” places. HIGHLY recommend storing your household items or belongings of importance here.”
