After looking at other houses to buy for the past two and a half years and not finding anything that we liked, in a neighborhood we liked, with attached land we liked, etc. I decided to stay where we are and remodel our older home that hadn't had much done to it due to previous other priorities. I had heard and read a lot of remodeling horror stories so I was very apprehensive. I did a lot of research online and read many reviews such as this and that's how I came upon Friedman Home Improvements. As soon as I met and talked with Jason Friedman I trusted him and believed his company was the right choice. It started out to be fixing the ceiling in 2 areas at first, but expanded into a major remodel that included an entire kitchen remodel, a half bath total remodel, and the rest of the entire main floor (with exception of one room). This included all new flooring throughout, all new lighting, all new doors and hardware, all new trim/baseboard, fresh paint throughout, and much more. The team that was assigned to us did an absolutely phenomenal job. I was very pleased with them. They have very high standards and did their very best with every job, whether it was demolishing the old kitchen cabinets, putting the new cabinets in the kitchen and laundry room, painting the walls/ceilings/new doors/trim, completing all the electrical and plumbing work, or any of the myriad of other things that they worked on. I decided to split the remodeling of the entire house up into sections, since I didn't think we could cope with the entire house going through a remodel at one time. We will definitely be having Friedman Home Improvement coming back to complete the rest of the remodeling that we want done. I wholeheartedly recommend Friedman Home Improvement.

My kitchen renovation was seamless! Project manager, Barry Copeland, the renovation team led by Juan, and the Home Depot design team of Nancy and Kim were amazing. I felt like they treated my home like it was their own. They were helpful, thoughtful, and on time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. After a bad decision and particularly horrible experience in hiring a friend who claimed to be a licensed contractor (my mistake for not checking him out), I reached out to Friedman Home improvement for help in fixing the disaster that had become of my only bathroom. From the affordable estimate to the consultation to completion, the Friedman team was responsive, accommodating, friendly and professional. They showed up on time and worked all day, every day - demoing, gutting and replacing the floor, walls, ceiling, plumbing and electrical as well as installing all of the fixtures I had purchased. 5 business days later, my bathroom was complete. Although it isn't the bathroom I had originally envisioned when I decided to start this project, it turned out better than I ever imagined and I absolutely love it! Do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistake I made. Just hire Friedman Home Improvement from the start and you won't be disappointed. We had issues from the start. The crew showed up when they felt like it. Several months later that crew was supposed to have got fired. Another crew came out and my kitchen floor is still not right. thought I was getting a 5 star job got maybe a 2 star at this point. Very disappointing.Service: Home renovations

Friedman Home Improvements not only did an exceptional job on adding a new bathroom and bedroom to our basement in anticipation of a baby being added to the family, but also went start to finish on water damage we incurred during storms this winter to the other half of the basement.Professional and easy to work with,and the end product was amazing.Services: General construction

The Friedman team did a truly *amazing* job!Jason (the owner)’s initial visit to our home lasted more than an hour. He asked very detailed questions to ensure he understood exactly what we wanted to accomplish. The estimate was quickly produced, and was exceeding thorough and clear, spanning a full 2-pages, itemizing all that the job entailed. When there were possible ways of saving money, he offered them. He also suggested a number of clever workarounds we had not considered.The estimated amount was a bit less than the other two quotes we received. In addition, it included items others had not thought to suggest. Other companies said they could begin in 4-6 months. Jason said he would begin in 2-3 weeks and complete the sizable renovation within 3 weeks. Once we agreed to move forward, everything was wrapped up within the timeline he estimated (from my experience, a rare feat!).All members of his crew were friendly, diligent, and highly competent. They were efficient on site, demonstrated great skill, were cautious not to damage anything, and performed a through cleanup, leaving nothing behind. The final product far exceeded our expectations! Bought an over-the-range microwave to replace the broken fan hood. The install was much more complicated than anticipated. They came the very next morning to install and I was ready for my planned family dinner. Thank you for the quick response and for doing a great job!

Jason was so quick to provide a quote. He had excellent communication and was very knowledgeable about many different areas. He didn’t spare any details when looking at the damage which made us feel really comfortable. We would 100% reach out to this company again for our next remodeling journey.
