I may not have purchased a vehicle from Wagners quite yet. But I must share my initial experience.
These folks have excellent Customer Service.
I was considering a vehicle that was for sale at their Used Lot.
I also found a similar vehicle at a different Dealership (Barringtom Porsche).
Porsche sales people did not get back to me even after repeated messages, honestly I felt like I was given a run around.
I by mistake sent a concerning email to Wagner, thinking it was the Porsche dealer, expressing my dissatisfaction with sales staff. Both websites were side by side and I sent a wrong email. I must blame my age and eyesight.....lol
Mike (GSM at Wagner) He was extremely Polite and assured me that my concern will be addressed immediately. He got to the bottom of this. All this for me to realize miscommunications.
All I can honestly say Wagner folks are all about communications and Service. If I ever have an opportunity to buy a vehicle from these folks I WILL.
My apologies yet again Mike and Mitch
Merry Christmas!

I contacted them regarding an inspection of my vehicle following an accident, to determine if any parts required replacement or repair. I was advised to take it to a collision center. My requirements were quite straightforward: I needed a hydraulic lift to examine the underside of the car and potentially replace the plastic underbody cover, as well as an assessment of the radiator to see if it needed replacing. Other components, such as the hood or bumper, would indeed necessitate a visit to a collision center.

I have been a customer here since I got my Subaru in 2017. The quality in the last couple of years has been severely diminished. Gone are the days when you recognize the technicians and support staff when you enter. The quality and consistency is also very diminished. Had another bad experience today so I’m deciding to list all of my issues from the last years below.
today I came in to get a headlight changed. Was just in here less than a month ago for an oil change. Historically, that is something the technician would’ve noticed, and fixed all in one visit. I arrived 15 minutes before four P.M. And was told it would take about 45 minutes. Finally at five P.M.. I went up to the counter and asked. My keys were just sitting there. Turns out I was looking at the window at my very own car for 25+ minutes. Glad I finally went up. Or maybe I would’ve never gotten it back. $90 for headlight install
2. In 2025 After an oil change, the plug came out. And my car was leaking oil. Obviously, they fixed it for Free. But no other compensation or acknowledgment of the malfunction was made.
3. Earlier this year I came in for an oil change. And then got an email that I needed a tire rotation less than a week later. When I called, I was told it is my responsibility to ask for the tires to be rotated. Maybe that should’ve always been the case. But I’m used to the Subaru dealership where they tried to get you in and out but also make sure your vehicle was ready to go.
When the technician used to come out, they would give you a paper that showed the overall health of your car and they would walk you through it. Now I can’t even even get them to call my name. I wish I had another better option. Will start looking.

Staff can’t even answer a simple phone call on 3 different extensions to ask a simple question as to if there parts department was open so I waste my time to go in and they aren’t. Go to Subaru of Dayton in miamisburg where they can actually answer a call. Parts guy was not in but cashier was and I even offered the part number

They took care of my tire, right on the spot. It was late in the afternoon and they made time to get my tire fixed. The parts manager and service manager were wonderful. I appreciate them them stepping up to help me!

I had no problem buying my car a year ago, they were great, and service was great, but, what happened to your service dept? Went in for an oil change a couple weeks ago, said I needed a new cabin filter, they put one in but did not put the cover back on, I had to do it, there were greasy finger prints on the glove compartment and passenger seat. The woman that should have checked me out brought my keys in, laid them down and decided to go help someone else. Seen my car sitting there for 20 minutes so asked someone else to check me out. She came back and was nasty to him saying she was going to do it. If you think you did us a service by changing up the personnel, think again, it is terrible!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!
Had the vehicle LESS THAN 2 MONTHS and the engine blew! The dealership is as shady as they come! Sold me a vehicle they knew was burning oil and it died 2,000 miles before my FIRST OIL CHANGE! I would encourage anyone shopping to avoid this place at all costs!

Review posted for family member Jeff! Took his Subaru into dealership late fall for complete service. Had them look at a/c at this time. Wagner told him it would only need charged up. He had to be selective in the repairs due to limited money so he let them know to hold off till next time.
Took the car back early spring and they said they could not preform the service unless he paid the diagnostic fee for the AC a second time. Needless to say, he will not be using their service division anymore!!

Claire is super nice and a great sales person! I have heard about issues with finance and title processing from family members who also have bought from Wagner. (One waited 2 months for her title, another had to go back and completely redo the finance paperwork). This is definitely a weakness for Wagner. The finance software did not work for Claire. Claire seemed so frustrated about it. She was forced to use old fashioned paper which really was okay in the end. This meant adding about an hour of time to allow her to prepare it. (My guess is the dealership is too cheap to have it fixed. I know software is expensive to maintain). I have never waited more than a week for a memorandum title from a dealership. This is my 6th new/used car purchase, each from different brands and dealerships. Just don’t expect paperwork to be done quickly and you will be fine! They love using “this is a small dealership” as an excuse. I haven’t used the dealership for service yet to be able to comment on that. Honestly, if Claire hadn’t been so nice we would have probably left and went to another Subaru dealership. There is always some where a dealership has weaknesses. Pick wisely!
Update:
About two weeks after buying the finance paperwork had to be redone via e-file because it wasn’t prepared correctly for Chase.
The title was lost by the “originating dealer.” I received the memorandum title via FedEx 4 days before Ohio’s Revised Codes required 30 days.
Mike Reed the general manager told me that I was in for a big surprise since I had “expressed my feelings” on google. I received a $25 restaurant gift card for my “feelings.”
