A better pharmacy experience does exist!!!! In recent years dealing with any pharmacy has become something we generally dread! Locations shutting down in our area have only added to the crowds wait times and aggravation. The exhausted overworked employees are often unpleasant as a result. Although I’m sure the stress and workload of the pharmacy staff at Walgreens is a trying as any other pharmacy. I’m pleased to say you’d never know it from the outside looking in. I’m happy to say both the friendly young lady who helped me at the drive thru pick up window my last in person visit and the delightful young man assisting me over the phone today were polite knowledgeable and eager to help me address my issue with a mistaken second profile as well as to see to it my prescriptions would be available in a timely manner. They answered all my questions and verified my contact information to avoid any confusion moving forward. They really try hard to provide exceptional customer service and clearly value their customers health and well being

Can’t never get a hold of anyone! My mom tried to get her prescription refilled was first told she did not have any refills, which she has 3. The lady put her on hold she was on hold for 40 mins then Walgreens just hung up on her. I then called myself phone rang for 30 mins no one answered! I had to drive up there to get the refill and then waited 20+ minutes!

The customer service and delays at the Fairborn location are completely unacceptable. I was told a prescription would be ready at 4:30 and was told I would have to wait an additional 20 minutes when I showed up at the time they told me it would be ready. This is the third incident of poor customer service I’ve experienced at this location.

The absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever had to deal with. Honestly I think they employ kids straight out of high school.

Walgreens is now using an automated "central fill" system for prescription refills instead of having the local pharmacist fill it. So now you'll get your Rx inside a large, non-recyclable plastic bag (instead of paper) and the pills will always be in the same HUGE pill bottle - regardless of quantity or pill size! So lots of extra plastic waste, plus more space taken up in your cabinet (and carry-on bag when traveling). Oh and the thin plastic bag has your personal details printed on it (HIPAA info), so now you have to figure out some way to properly dispose of it - unlike paper that can be tossed in the shredder easily!Clearly this was a short-sighted cost-cutting measure by corporate. I've found internet forums where Walgreens pharmacy staff say the central fill system sometimes sends empty bottles or the wrong bottle. So, while I really like this store and the staff are all great, I'm not sure I'll continue to get my Rx here because of this. It's environmentally unsound, prone to errors, and a huge personal inconvenience. Why bother when I can get a normal Rx package from other stores?

Been having problems with this Walgreens. I love calling to get a prescription refilled, being put on hold for 10 minutes, and then being hung up on. Definitely ready to change pharmacies.

I came threw the pharmacy drive threw, i I have newborn twins and all I needed was a bottle of aspirin and the pharmacist would not sell it to me told me I had to get my babies out in the rain and bring them inside. I went to Kroger's and they had no problem selling me the aspirin at the drive-thru window so it looks like that's where we are transferring our families prescriptions to

Constantly billing my rx’s wrong causing delays and missed doses of highly important meds, that I’m not supposed to be missing doses of. This is just negligent.

The pharmacy has been getting worse over the years, even before covid. Today i called 3 times, was on hold each time for around 30mins just to be hung up on while trying to get my insulin. This is unacceptable and will try CVS across the street.

Went in yesterday evening (1/5/23) to pick up my fiancé's medication he needed after his surgery. I won't go into too much detail, but we ran into an issue with quantity, and it was looking like we were going to have to go 20 minutes away & that it wouldn't be until the next day which really sucked bc he was in a lot of pain! Long story short, these wonderful people made it happen and I was able to just pick it up there (in store) and it only took about a 10 minute wait. Thank you, guys! Keep up the good work; you guys are rock stars! ?♥?

Walgreens is a good pharmacy and the pharmacist and techs know me by my name, I have no problems getting my medication, when they are out of stock of something it is ordered and delivered fast. The reason I have rated them 4 out of 5 stars is because I am not completely satisfied with their new hours. They close every day in the afternoon for a meal break 1:30-2 which is inconvenient because this is usually the time I am available to pick up prescriptions and are closed on Saturday of all days. However when they are open it is usually fast picking up my medication.

Their pharmacy closed on Saturdays now (Google has not bothered to update hours). How about close on a weekday like Mon or Tues so those of us that work can get our much needed prescriptions on a weekend when we are off. I am going to have to move my prescriptions (which according to insurance paperwork equates to over $1000 a month) to a pharmacy that can attract and retain pharmacists thus enabling them to provide hours that enable people to get their prescriptions.
