“i just wanted to say thank you for being the only tech shop i’ve been to that actually heard me out and tried to diagnose my laptop. i’ve been to about dozen different shops around the area this month looking for a solution to my black screen, and they all either weren’t willing to work with my laptop brand, weren’t willing to work with screens, or stopped me in the middle of my explanation to tell me that it was pointless and try to make a sale without even looking at any of the circuitry. this shop listened, asked clarifying questions, took my laptop apart, and was able to find out that the part everyone kept telling me needed to be replaced was actually just fine, and that it was likely a different issue entirely. will definitely be returning, thank you again.
UPDATE: i got home from the shop and opened my laptop, and the screen is on!! which i guess means a cable or component must’ve just been loose or disconnected. WHICH i could’ve found out a month ago if anyone had been willing to actually look at my laptop instead of brushing me off. again, cannot thank you enough for actually trying to help me (and succeeding)!!!”
