“Haley is super sweet, the place is a good price for the location and extremely secure (like Alcatraz secure). It’s still quite outdated, and the staff is not the fastest at performing requests. If money is tight and you need a place to live until you can build up enough to go to a better location, then I would recommend. As far as living here long term for several years, I would not”

I have to be up at 5am some days. I did turn them in, but it still did not get better. So I opted to search for sleep.”
“Current Resident: By far some of the friendliest and most sincere staff, from the front office to the maintenance crew. Today’s work order prompted this review because they not only showed up within an hour, but also fixed the issue and changed a lightbulb for me within that same hour.The complex always looks clean and welcoming, they take care of the snow and ice speedily whenever needed, a great first place to live in Columbus for me and my partner and our cats!”
“My spouse and I have lived at this property since February of 2022, and have had nothing but good experiences with Infiniti in the leasing office, as well as the maintenance staff, especially Bralyn and Angelo. Infiniti saw to it that our AC was replaced between yesterday and today, Angelo advocated for us needing the replacement in the first place and Bralyn spent all day yesterday and today doing a phenomenal job of replacing it. My spouse and I love the relationship we have with Infiniti and the maintenance staff, it’s so personable and makes for a comfortable environment.”
“We have lived here for over 4 years. This apartment was perfect when we moved in. Spotless. The grounds and pool are well maintained. Appreciate the seasonal decor. The office staff is stellar. Special call out to Nicole, Seth and Ken. Kind, thoughtful and caring. Always available and ready to assist. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The neighborhood is quiet and our neighbors great. The location is perfect. Close to everything. We love it here, and highly recommend.
UPDATE. I stopped by the office today at 10:00am to notify them my washing machine was not working. Melvin took care of it within hours. Great service!!”
“Living here at Slate Hill these past 5 months has been fantastic!!!! I love it here!!!! Abbey, Zay, Nick and the maintenance staff have been wonderful!!! Any requests asked to fix anything or be replaced has been done promptly and professionally!!!! My apartment with all its amenities and garage are fabulous!!!!
The newsletters and the pool being repaired and sharing other pool location until fixed, awesome: beautiful clubhouse with free access, fantastic Starbucks coffee machine and amenities, pool party with fabulous prizes!!!!, food trucks, free: herb garden package, school supplies, fun licence plate game and prizes, friendly library house, special clippers tickets were all wonderful!!!
Slate Hill is 2 minutes from my work place and so convenient to all the shopping, restaurants, gas stations and High Banks park nearby!!!! I will be staying a long time at Slate Hill!!!!

“This is a one of a kind building. The architecture is beautiful, Ohio’s landscape is mostly postmodern architecture but this building is just stunning. Knowing that is from 1924 and is this well conserved is remarkable. If you’re visiting Ohio like I was, this should be one of your stops: appreciate the views, the decoration, the amount of detail in doors, ceilings, lighting, for me the art-deco/baroque/whimsical architecture was just fantastic. Also the crew are friendly and welcoming so for me it was a 10/10.”

“Maintenance Repairs: I Putin an order to repair my cupboard, the shelf had fallen. My garbage disposal wasn’t working and my sliding door to the patio was hard to open. John, came right in and fixed all of the issues in less than an half hour. I was impressed! Wonderful job! Thanks so much!”

“I LOVE this apartment! I’ve been here for almost 2 years. It’s definitely my favorite apartment of all time. I love the two doors, one is a back door to the fire escape the other has a locked downstairs door where one must buzz to get in. I feel very safe due to it.My neighbors are wonderfully nice, polite and quiet too. Mixed crowd of college students to working professionals. Thankfully the walls are so thick most people can’t hear anything and the reverse is true too.Yes it is very old but that’s it’s charm! My suggestion for most people when living here: buy ceramic heaters off of Amazon for winter. Two is suffice. Get a 3rd one for backup or if you need to be toasty. My electric bill is never over $60 a month. I notice that if your neighbors run their air you won’t have to run yours as often.The only issue outside of the actual apartment are noise and parking.A. Tape your parking pass to your window to avoid towing from shamrock.B. Get city parking passes they’re only $25 a year!!! A Steal compared to most cities.C. Buy at least two noise machines! The bars and their patrons can get LOUD at night, and I mean ANY NIGHT. I run at least one during the week and two-three during the weekend.Otherwise it’s an adorably peaceful place to live.”

The pool has been under construction for some time so that is my only negative comment since it’s a commodity I would like to use.”

“I’ve lived here for 18 months. I really have no complaints. All public hallways and common areas are always kept very clean. Every maintenance request i have submitted has been responded to with Someone in my apartment within a day or so, even when it’s something small like the microwave light being out. The issues with garage safety and prices have all been well responded to by maintenance, they both lowered the parking prices and installed a new gate and security to address the break ins. I’ve truly loved living here and have recommended several of my friends to also live here”

“I’ve lived here going on 5 years. Sadly I’m looking for a 2 bedroom so my stay here ends. I love my apartment, it’s small and quiet. The office people are very nice and helpful and also understanding. Trust me I give them a headache lol. When I need something fix they fix it in a timely manner. I have my own drive way so don’t have to worry about not having a spot when I get off work. Haven’t had any bug issues which I’m happy about because these other apartments I’m looking at seem to have a big problem with roaches. One thing is my neighbors. I don’t complain to the office about them. I just ignore them. I’m sure they complained about me. My neighbor always tells me what I can or can’t do with MY apartment ( inside and outside) The list goes on. But i really need a 2 bedroom. Thank you Chartwell for everything my son and I appreciate it more than you know.”

“LC Gahanna was SUCH a great place to live. The community is big, beautiful, and perfect for dog walks. The grounds were always clean and well kept (huge shoutout to Rosie for that!). It always felt peaceful and welcoming, even during the cold winter months.
The leasing staff was a delight. Not only were they knowledgeable, they were fun to talk to whenever I found myself in the leasing office/coffee area. I only moved because of a job change, and honestly, I miss living at LC Gahanna nearly every day. The staff will take care of you and treat you like you're truly a part of a community.
Ignore most of the negative reviews here. They were probably behind on rent. ;)”
