Kelsie is always friendly and had no problem with my 16,000 questions that still come to this day! Lol! She really put my mind at ease during my transition. Great staff, great experience! The apartment is great, clean, and was ready for me to move in day one! Loving my new home!!”

“This is a one of a kind building. The architecture is beautiful, Ohio’s landscape is mostly postmodern architecture but this building is just stunning. Knowing that is from 1924 and is this well conserved is remarkable. If you’re visiting Ohio like I was, this should be one of your stops: appreciate the views, the decoration, the amount of detail in doors, ceilings, lighting, for me the art-deco/baroque/whimsical architecture was just fantastic. Also the crew are friendly and welcoming so for me it was a 10/10.”

“I've lived at Autumn Chase for a few months now and it's been great so far! Rent is a little high for the average studio, but with almost everything included it's a good deal! The property manager, Gabby, was pleasant to work with during the process of leasing (a huge relief as a first-time renter) and is always there if I have any issues. A few days after moving in, I discovered that my AC unit was not working. I put in a maintenance request and staff were there right away to replace the unit. I don't think you could find a better apartment complex than here!”

“This has been such a wonderful place to live so far. Our old apartments nearby were managed by a different company and it has been a night and day change! Both the residents and staff here are super friendly. The property itself is nice and clean with a surprising amount of wooded areas for being right next to Polaris. Look for Will or Nick at the office to help you get sorted out!”

“We have lived here for over 4 years. This apartment was perfect when we moved in. Spotless. The grounds and pool are well maintained. Appreciate the seasonal decor. The office staff is stellar. Special call out to Nicole, Seth and Ken. Kind, thoughtful and caring. Always available and ready to assist. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The neighborhood is quiet and our neighbors great. The location is perfect. Close to everything. We love it here, and highly recommend.

UPDATE. I stopped by the office today at 10:00am to notify them my washing machine was not working. Melvin took care of it within hours. Great service!!”

“The manager, maintenance man and cleaning girl is great. They are the best team we've ever had. If they leave, I will move. Scott, the manager, tries to do whatever he can to help you and Kayla never stops working. Our laundry room sink, when she started , was brown like it had never been cleaned, our hallway had salt on the carpet for 6 months but everything is always clean now. Joe, the maintenance guy, fixes things when you mentions them to him, while he's doing other repairs in the apartment and repairs everything the correct way the first time. I can't say enough about these people.”

“I recently contacted the leasing office via telephone and Leasing Professional Bri answered the line. I was in need of apartment information in addition to their CMHA voucher standards. Bri was extremely professional and transparent. With a mild misunderstanding during our phone call Bri maintained professional decorum. She humbly notated some specific information regarding CMHA procedures and guidelines.

“I just moved to the LC Riversouth. Here’s the good and the bad.

The Bad:

Moving in was problematic. They have accounting problems. As soon as I went to pick up my keys, the leasing lady asked me to pay rent multiple times. But I already paid rent, deposit installment, and luxor fee. My account was paid in full already. So when I got my keys she informed me they charged a $200 amenity fee and that I had a balance on my account over $1800. Im still fighting this issue. Its too easy to prove Ive already paid. I have my bank records. But they just sent me a notice to pay my rent within 3 days and tacked on a $125 late fee when I paid my rent last week!

There’s a trash issue. My apartment is next to the trash room, which wouldnt be a problem if the trash room was kept clear. But when I moved in the odors of rotten garbage filled the bedroom closet and bedroom because the trash shoot was backed up and trash was piled up in the trash room. I had to call multiple times and ask for it to be cleared out. Now just a couple days later, people are throwing garbage on the trash room floor again instead of putting it down the shoot. The policies about trash is not enforced and I was dumb enough to pick this apartment. Now I feel like a fool. Im not living like this. This is something I see myself taking them to court for in the near future. I cant live in a home smelling like garbage.

The Good:

Management and the leasing office staff are very nice, courteous, and professional. I went through a lot more frustrations than what Im writing in this post and so far they have been doing well with trying to resolve the issues. Even when I got frustrated, I couldnt stay frustrated because they were being so nice.

Maintenance was awesome! I dont know the names of the maintenance crew but one man in particular who resolved my issues was EXTREMELY courteous and professional. He took time to explain things to me and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of.

My apartment is nice. I didnt get one of the more updated units, but the unit I got is nice and mostly everything worked and was in good condition.

Overall I would recommend living here…so far..but I’ll make updates to this post as time goes on.”

“My experience so far as a resident has been so very positive that it could take me awhile to make sure I document the whole experience.
1. Yes it’s true, we have a pool! (I moved in October of last year, so this season will be my first)
2. It’s sits on the walking trail between Bicentennial and Scioto Audubon Parks, Topiary Park, and Battelle Riverfront Park! It technically sits in the brewery district, with the only 80s bar in Columbus and the only live musical dinner theater in Columbus at the end of our block!

5. Full-sized washer and dryer included in every unit!
6. The best snow removal in the city!
7. Most beautiful sunset views.
8. Crown molding and custom trim plant shelves, bookcase shelves and giant closets.
9. Allows pets!
10. Ten foot ceilings and a giant bathtub!

“I LOVE this apartment! I’ve been here for almost 2 years. It’s definitely my favorite apartment of all time. I love the two doors, one is a back door to the fire escape the other has a locked downstairs door where one must buzz to get in. I feel very safe due to it.My neighbors are wonderfully nice, polite and quiet too. Mixed crowd of college students to working professionals. Thankfully the walls are so thick most people can’t hear anything and the reverse is true too.Yes it is very old but that’s it’s charm! My suggestion for most people when living here: buy ceramic heaters off of Amazon for winter. Two is suffice. Get a 3rd one for backup or if you need to be toasty. My electric bill is never over $60 a month. I notice that if your neighbors run their air you won’t have to run yours as often.The only issue outside of the actual apartment are noise and parking.A. Tape your parking pass to your window to avoid towing from shamrock.B. Get city parking passes they’re only $25 a year!!! A Steal compared to most cities.C. Buy at least two noise machines! The bars and their patrons can get LOUD at night, and I mean ANY NIGHT. I run at least one during the week and two-three during the weekend.Otherwise it’s an adorably peaceful place to live.”

“Wonder Bread Lofts is so incredible ! I honestly did not want to leave a stay there for a couple of weeks at an Airbnb and the whole setup is just amazing converted from a old factory to luxuries lofts . The place was just amazing and I honestly considered running a place there permanently. It is also close enough to downtown and great local spots it's convenient if you want to go out have fun! This place is also very photo friendly!!!”

“Ive been living in one of the properties for well over a year and I couldn't have had a better experience so far. The building I am in is old and with that there are a few things you have to deal with but nothing thats a deal breaker. Very kind and responsive staff whenever there has been a maintenance issue.”

“I lived at Austin Place Columbus for two years, and it was truly one of the best places I have lived in during my time in the United States. The community is quiet, peaceful, and conveniently located near everything you need, while still being far enough from the noise and busy areas. The neighbors were friendly and respectful, which made it a wonderful environment for my family.

The management and office team were incredibly supportive and professional throughout my entire stay. Maintenance requests were always handled quickly and efficiently, and any concerns were addressed with care and respect. Over the two years, the staff felt more like family than just a management team. I especially looked forward to the seasonal events and activities they organized for residents, which helped create a strong sense of community.

When I first signed my lease, I was honestly concerned about the schools because of the Columbus location. I have children in elementary, middle, and high school, and education was a major factor for our family. However, when I enrolled my children, I learned that the schools were part of the South-Western City School District. The schools exceeded my expectations. My daughter in elementary school grew tremendously both academically and personally. Her teachers and principal were exceptional—caring, professional, and genuinely invested in their students' success. The middle and high school staff were also supportive, encouraging, and dedicated to helping students thrive.

Looking back, I consider my children's educational experience during our time here to have been a valuable investment in their future. We gained far more than just a place to live—we became part of a welcoming community.

If my plans had been to remain in the United States, I would have renewed my lease without hesitation. I highly recommend Austin Place Columbus to anyone looking for a safe, family-friendly, well-managed community with excellent staff and a positive living experience.”

“The location, amenities, layouts, and responsiveness of maintenance / office here are great! The cost is high and continues to grow, but this is to be expected at a complex like this. Newer complexes in area with the same level of amenities with much smaller sq footage, etc seem to be higher priced. Have been here about 4 years now!”

“Enjoy living here — the view is great, the tenants are respectful, and everything is very convenient. Parking is easy, and having 24‑hour access to the gym, pool table , and deck is a huge plus. The deck area even has a grill, which makes it perfect for relaxing or hosting.”
