“I visited Gentile's The Wine Sellers [at 1565 King Ave. in the "Fifth by Northwest" neighborhood of Columbus] for my first time on 8-30-2023.I have been aware of that business for most of my life and have frequently passed there while on my way somewhere else but had never before visited there.Several weeks earlier [8-13-2023], I had requested an Uber ride home from Gentile's [they had been closed at that time] because the parking lot of the Filipino restaurant across the street [Bonifacio] [that I had left because they had been too crowded at that time] had been too crowded for an Uber pickup.While waiting for my Uber pickup in the empty Gentile's parking lot, I decided to officially visit there at some point in the near future [obviously when they would be open]; 8-30-2023 ended up being the perfect date for that visit.The wine selection at Gentile's is large and is attractively displayed; the woman behind the counter [after I had told her that I do not drink alcoholic beverages] showed me their selection of non-alcoholic beverages.Gentile's also sells custom-made pizzas that are made at the north end of the store. They are not a restaurant which means that the pizzas that they sell are not ready to eat; instead, they are to be heated and served elsewhere.While looking at a newspaper article that had been posted behind the cash register, I learned that Gentile's had opened when I had been eight days old. I do not believe that I had visited there that day.It had been great to be able to visit Gentile's after so many years.”
“Muhammad and his team are amazing! The new owners are just as good as the old owner! They now sell vape and smoke items as well! This place is only a block away and trust me when I tell you were at Alexander's 5-6 times a week! They also will give your dogs treats!”

“You'd never know it from the outside but this spot that looks like a country corner store actually has a really wide selection of beer, both foreign and craft. Staff was super helpful and even said they'd order a particular beer for me!”

“Very nice guy at receiving. Not the best place to get a 53ft trailer into and worse yet is getting out of there. There are several low bridges in the area DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS! To get out you have to drive three blocks up then turn left by the post office to get back to 5th.”

“This was my first time walk-in in there and I was shocked!!!! This place is spotless!!! Loved it. They have great selection and very well organized and super clean!!! Amazing…”
“Phenomenal food and drink, and great service. The server steered us in the right direction on cocktails which landed us on a classic old fashioned and the magic of the unicorn, both of which hit the spot. For food, we started with the tempura cauliflower which set the bar very, very high. Meaty and satisfying, with a delicious onion topping and delicate curry sauce. We went on to the grilled octopus, which was honestly some of the best I have had - tender as you can get. Finally, we shared the mushroom pasta with the added short rib. The split portion was more than enough to round out the meal for us. This dish was incredibly rich but it was topped off by a clever and bright salsa verde that brought it all into balance. As we finished up, the place started really filling up and I'm not surprised. We headed out after picking up a bottle of black walnut old fashioned mix to take home.”
“The interior of Daily Growler is nothing special. A small space with a few tables, a small patio area, and a backroom with a few more tables for the overflow. The reason to go to Daily Growler? The around 50 taps of beer. If you are a beer lover this place is paradise. They have a ton of amazing beer options. Unique options many you will have a hard time finding at other places. Whoever decides their tap lineup must be really passionate about finding exciting beers. I recommend getting a flight when you visit. You wont be disappointed!”

I'm a casual wine enthusiast but the selection features domestic favorites that I'm used to and a large amount of imports, I really enjoyed picking out a half dozen bottles and the wine monger was incredibly helpful as well. An all around great experience and I will be back.”
“I went for my first time, and am so glad I made it. I was looking for fresh, frozen sardines and they have them in stock all the time, currently at $10.99 for a 2lb bag. The person working was super nice - I called on the phone before heading over to check if they had the sardines, and they were very helpful, patient, and kind while I was in-store.I took a few pictures of the other fish, so I can get inspired to return and try something new. They have so many different types of fish, and some are even pre-marinaded and ready to be placed on the grill/pan.I'll definitely be going back and if you haven't visited, I would highly recommend you do. “Don's is far and away the best drive thru I have been to. Everytime I go there I'm greeted by their awesome staff, who time and time again go above and beyond to be helpful in more ways than just getting the things I ask for. They are always friendly and have great prices. Joe, Chris, Casey and the rest of the team are always friendly and helpful. Today when I went through there, the pop I requested wasn't totally cold yet. Chris offered to trade me a couple cold cans for the room temp ones so I had cold drinks. I just thought that was incredibly nice to even offer and going out of his way to make sure I had what I needed. Small businesses should be given the recognition and praise they deserve and Don's does it right. Thank you to everyone at Don's for your excellent service, prices, customer service and for being so awesome with the nuggets.”

“Friendly and helpful staff with interesting craft beers and an extremely large selection of high scale wines. The minimum on a card is $3. They also have pretty great deals for select beers and wines all the time. They've also got a decent size selections of non alcoholic drinks such as soda pop, energy drinks (flavors I've never before seen), lemonades juices and teas. They have an aisle of snack foods which has a nice selection of sweets and other junk foods. The shelf's are very well stocked and filled up with larger cases and selections within the walk in cooler. Easily one of my favorite and most frequented spots in grandview.”
