The course is fairly priced and in good condition. The food and beverages were also fairly priced and pretty good lol. Definitely not the course for you if you’re looking to get out early and beat everyone out because they will continuously funnel people in on the back. I was the first tee time of the day at 6:00am and it took us an hour and a half to get through the front and they had already let two groups out on the back. Unfortunately, they were awful and didn’t let us play through which added an hour to the back nine.

Awesome course, staff is polite and helpful, course itself is well maintained and gives plenty of challenge regardless of skill level! Definitely a great place to spend a few hours!

The course is in great condition. Greens were fast and rolled true.

Always a length challenge but the jammed tee times made for a painfully slow round. No plan to return anytime soon until that downfall is overcome.

Thorn Apple is a blast to play! ⛳😎 The course is in great shape, with an open yet challenging layout that keeps things fun. The clubhouse has that cool, retro 70s/80s vibe, though using the locker rooms for banquet chair storage is a bit odd 🪑. Parking’s a headache—tight spots for modern cars, let alone those old-school land yachts 🚗. Still, the friendly staff and solid course make it worth it. I’d golf here a ton if it was closer! Definitely coming back with my crew for another round. 🏌️♂️

Played there last year and the staff in the pro shop are a-holes. I will never go back.

From being crammed in on a Sunday like sardines, to the rude Pro in the shop - this course was by far the worst experience I've ever had playing golf. We hit the turn on 9 the bartender was extremely annoyed we were purchasing food and kept rolling her eyes. The club house had regulars standing outside like a gang running their mouths to other players about the way they play and look. I've never been apart of such white trash at a golf course. When leaving the couple that work together and dating (bartender and staff employee) were outside having a screaming match. I also used a couple large dandelions as tees on the tee off box's and used my driver on the greens to get my ball to roll

Greens were great already.

Course was in good shape for end of winter/early spring. Kurt and the guys up front are great as well as the bartender. Hole 16 is legendary, worth the greens fees every time.

Course is in great shape and cheap prices. Only bad thing is no driving range. Other than that good golf course with variety!

Thorn Apple is a fun course. If it was closer to home, I would golf here pretty often. Clubhouse is old school in a good way. Maybe don't use the locker rooms as storage for banquet chairs, but I guess they do have to be stored somewhere. Parking here is an issue. It's weird that the clubhouse feels 70s/80s when cars were much larger than today, but it's difficult to park a mid size modern sedan there currently. I can only imagine trying to park a land barge back in the day. Really a fun spot for a round if you can get parked without dinging a few fenders.
