“My oldest son went to (previously Learning Circle later changed to) Marymount Childcare Center at Jennings for almost 3.5 years and my younger son went for over a year. The teachers and staff deeply care about the children and most teachers have been with the Center for over a decade or more. The environment was safe and clean, the activities they brought home (and talked about) were interesting and creative, and the outdoor time was a great way to get out some energy. I knew my boys were safe and loved while I worked. We only had to change childcare due to our older son needing to get closer to home to prepare for Kindergarten. Otherwise, we would have stayed during the duration of their childcare needs. Check them out!”

“We love Primrose and had the best experience there. Our daughter attended the school from toddler to Pre-K and loved her teachers and classmates so much. The teachers were all exceptional and devoted to their students. They were kind, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness.

The environment is bright, clean, and full of engaging activities that encourage creativity, learning, and social skills. Our child came home excited to share what they’d learned each day.

Communication with the staff is excellent—they kept us updated with daily notes and photos, which really put our minds at ease. It’s clear that safety, kindness, and education are top priorities here.

When our daughter started kindergarten she eased right in as she already had a solid foundation of recognizing letters, phonics, and early math (not to mention disciplined and polite behavior) thanks to Primrose.

“Carol Nursery School has been such a special place for our family. Like many parents, I felt a little nervous about starting the school experience at age three, but the three half days a week ended up being the perfect and very welcomed introduction for both of us.

It’s been a wonderful way for our son to begin socializing, building confidence, and experiencing those proud “big kid” moments that come with going to school. The teachers truly know and care for each child, and there is such a warmth throughout the school.

Carol has also created a real sense of community among parents. The extracurriculars offered in Pre-K have been a great addition, and as parents of a summer birthday child, we’re really looking forward to the Young Fives program.

“My child has been going to this daycare under Miss Keyshia and her staff since he was a few months old as me and my wife have to work. I could not ask for a more family oriented and professional multicultural staff than what I was blessed to have my child subjected to. He has grown and leaps and bounds and the money we spend is spent well. I’d never have any second or even first thoughts of my child being taken care of and his safety coming first as well as the other children the grading system is amazing. They’re more in depth than most K through 12 schools. They take their time with all the children. They encourage parental involvement with events. Miss Keysha creates events often And the children seem to really enjoy themselves take it from me a man who didn’t want his child to go to danger. “My grandson had been badly hurt at another Center. My daughter and son in law were very nervous, to say the least, to try another one. They are a young family and we all have full-time jobs so the 2 children need to be enrolled. When they found this AMAZING center we were all put at ease, and at peace seeing how well cared for our babies were. The kids adore their teachers, and all their friends. “My daughter has been attending LaPetite Daycare Center for the past six months, and I am truly impressed with the 5-star care they provide. Their hours are perfect for working parents, and the center director, Ms. Trish, consistently communicates important information in a timely and clear manner. Knowing about school closures well in advance has been especially helpful for planning and securing alternative childcare when needed.

The teachers are incredibly kind and have a strong understanding of child development. They have worked closely with me to support my daughter’s emotional regulation, academic learning, and even helped tremendously with potty training.

The facility has a warm, family-like environment where my child feels safe and supported. Their private pay rates are reasonable and align with industry standards, and they also accept vouchers which is a great help to many families.

“I cannot say enough great things about this daycare! We started sending our daughter here when she was just 3 months old and have had the best experience. We were super nervous new parents, and the staff here always answered all of our crazy questions very quickly, followed our baby’s schedule exactly, provided updates and pictures through the day, and took the time to know our daughter. Everyone that works here knows her by name which made the transition to work feel much better since we knew they all cared about her. Developmentally and socially she has grown so much since we started and I think that is due to the staff and the fun activities they plan everyday. Highly recommend!”

“When my oldest two children went to this school it was great, I absolutely loved it. By the time my third child went there it was a whole different management. My youngest went there for 4 days then they decided to kick her out because she did not fit in. Mind you, this was a 4-year-old and it was her first ever experience in a school setting. They couldn't even allow her to get used to the new environment or get settled down. They told me she needed to be evaluated for, I'm not even sure what exactly but reassured me that she was accepted at a preschool that dealt with children with disabilities and special ed. However, I quickly learned that that was all a lie. They never did any of it. When I took my child to the school they suggested I was told my daughter was perfectly fine and she just needed an exposure to a school setting. My daughter had to miss six whole weeks of what should have been her first experience of preschool before she was accepted and enrolled in a whole different School. Now she is in kindergarten where she happens to be one of the three top students of her peers. I will never forget the pain I felt. When my two oldest went there I've seen them deal with kids that had serious behavioral issues and were never kicked out or held accountable But my daughter, the one that couldn't sit still but did not cause any other problems was kicked out without a second thought.”

“What a wonderful school!
I was able to meet with teachers months and weeks before the school year even started. Each of my child's teachers have sat down with me and we have gone through my child's IEP from our school district. They listened to my concerns and we worked together to make a plan to help my child succeed in the classroom. The teachers also periodically check in with me before or after class.

My child LOVES preschool and asks to go on days they don't have school. Their imagination, vocabulary and interest in intentional play has blossomed since starting school.

I love the play based, screen free curriculum and welcoming environment. The school is in its own building with a playground and a large campus for the classes to explore. The Co-Op lets the kids be little while still preparing them for kindergarten.”

Their passion for working with children and open lines of communication have made my transition from maternity leave to work easier than expected. “Our son was with this daycare for over 4 years and recently went to Kindergarten last year. Of course no facility is perfect but for the most part all the teachers here are very friendly, helpful and dedicated to what they do. Whenever we had concerns they're open to communication and genuinely care about our son'simprovement. Our son loved going to this school (and still asks if he can go back sometimes lol), made friends and enjoyed all the activities especially soccer and outdoor. Thanks Ms. Lisa, Mr. Brian and other teachers that were involved in his early childhood!”

“My son started Parma Preschool in December after starting the year at another local preschool, where he had an awful experience. Since he started we've seen such a difference in him! His language has improved, he can write his name, more independent, he's learning how to handle emotions, and he's even working on his big motor skills (he always practices his balance). The school is clean with beautiful classrooms and other play areas throughout the building. They even take the kids outside on nice days. The staff is incredible with the kids, they acknowledge each child, they're friendly, and most importantly, they know how to work with this age group, and meet them where they're at instead of force them into a cookie cutter. We absolutely love this school and what they've done for my son!”

“My son went to this school at 3 years old and learned so much over the years. The teachers are so loving and have patience. My baby just graduated this year and now my 2 year old is going here. He was born in the pandemic. First he would not talk but after starting early head start he learned so quickly. He talks way more saying full sentences and I love it. He started the beginning of this year when he was 1. I highly recommend this head start to all parents.”

“My daughter is attending pre-k at Childtime after relocating from Maryland last year. Though Childtime has experienced some staffing challenges over the past year, I have had no doubts or concerns about the quality of my child’s care. She especially loves her teachers Ms. Kandice and Ms. Emoni who he talks about all the time. I appreciate that they are communicative and answer any questions I may have. And a special shoutout to Mr. Chris, he’s not in my daughter’s classroom but I always see him with the school agers getting them ready in the mornings and helping out where he can.”

“Let’s start with the fact I’ve never had my kids in daycare because I’ve been scared to enroll them. This daycare is literally so kind, caring and understanding. I have 3 autistic kids and I was worried about them going anywhere but this facility made sure that my girls were good. They got them into speech therapy and I was able to get them a RBT through the center as well.

Ms Marketi, the director, is amazing! She helped me through the whole process. She listens to my concerns and acts accordingly.

Ms Jen, the preschool teacher, is 10/10 the best teacher I’ve ever met! Always a pleasant exchange with her. She get down on the kids level and truly helps them understand.

Ms CiCi, the toddler teacher, is just as wonderful. You can tell she really has her heart in teaching kids. She’s helped my babies learn so much!

Ms Tamyka, the infant teacher, is hilarious. I love her love for my little baby! She’s so attentive and sweet and my baby is absolutely in love with her.

“My son was a first generation Covid baby. We enrolled him at Macedonia Kindercare in Dec 2019. He was only in the infant room for a few months before everything was shut down, however I can say that the staff in the infant room always took incredible care of him. They updated us throughout the day using an app to let us know how he was eating and sleeping, which I loved. They sent cute pics home so that we could see what he was doing. Fast forward to preschool and pre-k, I re-enrolled him at Macedonia Kindercare. My experience was just as positive as the first. The teachers took great care in helping us set goals for him to achieve and milestones to reach. They continued to use the app to update us throughout the day. Communication with Maggie and Regina, the Director and Assistant Directors respectively, was always clear and informative. Everyone that my son was in contact with was caring, kind, and so welcoming. My son is now 3 weeks into kindergarten at a local private school. I am so proud to already be getting glowing reports about how well behaved and well prepared my son is for kindergarten. I attribute so much of his success to Macedonia Kindercare and the wonderful ladies who work there. We love you all so much and thank you for everything.”
