“I had the pleasure of hearing from Valerie, founder and owner of Yellowcake Shop Clothing Company, at a professional development session. Initially, I was hesitant to attend a session on dressing for success, as these conversations can sometimes be rooted in outdated ideas and stereotypes. However, Valerie’s presentation was refreshingly authentic and thought-provoking. She challenged conventional fashion norms and encouraged embracing personal style as a powerful tool to break down barriers and redefine what “dressing for success” means. Valerie also shared actionable tips for discovering a style that feels genuine and suits your work environment. Her passion and commitment were evident both in her presentation and her collection. I ended up purchasing the crossbody harness, which is a unique piece unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. I’m thrilled to support a sustainable, US-made brand that champions marginalized communities. With complimentary repairs offered, I’m know this piece will become an instant staple in my wardrobe and will last me a lifetime.”

“It's the second time I purchase a dress at Ruby's and, just like the time before, I had a great experience here! The store has so many different options, unlike many other stores in Cleveland area. The owner was very helpful and took the time to not only show me the many options available but also assist me as I tried on many options today.
