Pet Care

Geneva Veterinary Clinic
254 S Broadway, GenevaOur German shepherd is a very kind and gentle boy but he's a bit nervous around new people. Other vets were treating him like a dangerous dog and were generally scared of him which added to his anxiety. Dr. Miller treated him with confidence and respect and he was the most comfortable around a vet's office we have ever seen him. Dr. Miller was very thorough and easy to understand when explaining to us what our next steps should be to get him fixed. We are very pleased with our experience here and highly recommend them

Browns Cheesesteak on the Strip
5340 Lake Rd E, GenevaBrowns Cheesesteaks on the strip in Geneva-on-the-Lake is hands down one of my favorite stops! Boomer, the owner, and his family treat every customer like they’re part of their own. You can really feel the warmth and friendliness when you walk up to the stand.
The menu is simple, but that’s the beauty of it—every single bite is packed with flavor. I’ve been to Philadelphia, and I can honestly say Browns rivals any cheesesteak shop in Philly. They do it right here on the Lake.
The shop is right on the strip next to Lake Erie, so not only do you get an amazing cheesesteak, but you also get to enjoy the fun, lively, and beautiful atmosphere of Geneva-on-the-Lake. For me, it’s worth the ride—85 miles one way on my Harley—just to sink my teeth into one of these sandwiches.
If you love authentic cheesesteaks and a friendly, welcoming vibe, Browns is the place to go.

Hundley Cellars
6451 OH-307, GenevaAmazing, we had been to several other wineries the day before and this one was our favorite. The owner was on site and answered our questions and was super friendly. The gal pouring the wine and telling us about the flavors well she nailed it for me on what one to try. The Baron! Very robust and I should have bought more than one bottle! Should try this winery out. You can sit outside and view a pond and their vines.

East End Bar & Grill
5236 Lake Rd E, GenevaNice place on the GOTL strip to grab a beer and a bite. Typical bar food menu with lots of choices. Nice selection of beers on tap as well as bottles and cans. Lots of outdoor seating. Vibe is pretty casual and chill. Nothing fancy. Decent food.

Benny Vino Urban Winery
834 S County Line Rd, GenevaThis place has a lovely outdoor seating area. There was a band inside when we were there and could barely hear ourselves think. Server was nice and knowledgeable about the wines. This is probably the least refined of the wineries we went to, but I loved the feel and the people. Would diffidently go back when the weather is warm.

Laurello Vineyards
4573 OH-307, GenevaWe stopped in after saying good bye to a beautiful woman. We always like to visit local wineries and this one was great. Having a local winery just 6 miles from home where we live, today felt like we were at home. The staff were very friendly as were the patrons. We were fortunate enough to even hear some local musicians. We had a few glasses of white wine which was very tasty. Heard some great music from a band called Dawn to Dusk Trio, they were great. If we did not live a 10 hour drive or a 1.5 hour plane ride away we would visit more often.

The Winery at Spring Hill
6062 South Ridge Rd W, GenevaSpring Hill is a gem. There are a lot of wineries in the Geneva area, but this is the one I would recommend. They have fantastic wine, every single wine I tried was at least a 9/10. Their hard ciders are also delicious.. the cider with the bourbon hint tasted like a cozy night by a campfire. I would recommend Cranberry wine if you're into cranberry.. they did it right. And some of my other favorites were the Red Raspberry, Blackberry, and Apple wines. The man behind the bar seemed to be the one running the show, he was knowledgeable and very helpful picking out what to try. The service was friendly and enjoyable. They have a lot of little things for sale including hand painted wine glasses that were adorable! The experience here bested every experience I've had at other wineries, and for a fraction of the cost. You can sample 6 wines for $10. I love everything about this place and I will be back often!

Ferrante Winery & Ristorante
5585 N River Rd W, GenevaI was part of a group on a bus trip. As we entered the beautiful building, we were greeted warmly. The wine tasting came with a description of each wine and the flavor. Lunch service went quickly despite 32 of us sitting at a long table. Delicious food, great service, and very attentive staff. Many of us purchased wine before we left. I discovered that my car key remote had fallen out of my purse after I arrived at the bus drop off. Mary Jo Ferrante went out of her way to mail my car key remote to me. Not only was the food and atmosphere wonderful but the service was top notch. If I could, I would rate customer service a 10.

Red Eagle Distillery
6202 S River Rd W, GenevaThe Red Eagle Distillery was recommended by some locals. We had already bought tickets to the Autumn Glow and didn’t realize it shared property either the vineyard as well.
The space inside is smaller, they do fit a good amount of people in there, but there’s some tables outside that are perfect on good weather days. They had a ton of specialty cocktails as well as featured cocktails. Every single one we had was delicious. There was a food truck outside in the parking lot for food and some non-alcoholic beverages.
They also let us know if they didn’t have the particular spirit we wanted at the distillery (rum) we were able to walk right next door to the Black Tavern and grab a drink there as well. That was great for the couple of drinkers that have a specific spirit preference.
The bartenders were super knowledgeable about all of the spirits and answered questions about preferences and what you may want to try. If we didn’t like something they were so so kind and even made something else.
