Pet Care

Geneva Veterinary Clinic
254 S Broadway, GenevaDr Emily and her staff are some of the most caring, knowledgeable, and happy professionals I’ve ever known! Dr Emily and the vet tech who worked with my cat answered all of my questions, showed me X-rays, gave me a clear direction of how we would proceed and most of all, they gave me confidence!

Scribblers Coffee Co.
388 S Broadway, GenevaHi! Just want to take a moment to appreciate Scribblers! I love this little coffee shop by my house. It’s always such a warm, welcoming vibe and just makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. Carson is seriously the best!! He is always so kind and full of light. Today he even offered me an umbrella to walk home in the rain, which meant a lot. Scribblers always takes such good care of their customers ?

Hundley Cellars
6451 OH-307, GenevaAmazing, we had been to several other wineries the day before and this one was our favorite. The owner was on site and answered our questions and was super friendly. The gal pouring the wine and telling us about the flavors well she nailed it for me on what one to try. The Baron! Very robust and I should have bought more than one bottle! Should try this winery out. You can sit outside and view a pond and their vines.

Laurello Vineyards
4573 OH-307, GenevaWe stopped in after saying good bye to a beautiful woman. We always like to visit local wineries and this one was great. Having a local winery just 6 miles from home where we live, today felt like we were at home. The staff were very friendly as were the patrons. We were fortunate enough to even hear some local musicians. We had a few glasses of white wine which was very tasty. Heard some great music from a band called Dawn to Dusk Trio, they were great. If we did not live a 10 hour drive or a 1.5 hour plane ride away we would visit more often.

Benny Vino Winery
834 S County Line Rd, GenevaThis place has a lovely outdoor seating area. There was a band inside when we were there and could barely hear ourselves think. Server was nice and knowledgeable about the wines. This is probably the least refined of the wineries we went to, but I loved the feel and the people. Would diffidently go back when the weather is warm.

The Winery at Spring Hill
6062 South Ridge Rd W, GenevaSpring Hill is a gem. There are a lot of wineries in the Geneva area, but this is the one I would recommend. They have fantastic wine, every single wine I tried was at least a 9/10. Their hard ciders are also delicious.. the cider with the bourbon hint tasted like a cozy night by a campfire. I would recommend Cranberry wine if you're into cranberry.. they did it right. And some of my other favorites were the Red Raspberry, Blackberry, and Apple wines. The man behind the bar seemed to be the one running the show, he was knowledgeable and very helpful picking out what to try. The service was friendly and enjoyable. They have a lot of little things for sale including hand painted wine glasses that were adorable! The experience here bested every experience I've had at other wineries, and for a fraction of the cost. You can sample 6 wines for $10. I love everything about this place and I will be back often!

Ferrante Winery & Ristorante
5585 N River Rd W, GenevaI was part of a group on a bus trip. As we entered the beautiful building, we were greeted warmly. The wine tasting came with a description of each wine and the flavor. Lunch service went quickly despite 32 of us sitting at a long table. Delicious food, great service, and very attentive staff. Many of us purchased wine before we left. I discovered that my car key remote had fallen out of my purse after I arrived at the bus drop off. Mary Jo Ferrante went out of her way to mail my car key remote to me. Not only was the food and atmosphere wonderful but the service was top notch. If I could, I would rate customer service a 10.

Driftwood Point Beach Bar and Grill
6827 Lake Rd W, Geneva⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ? ?
First time at Driftwood Point and I’m honestly not sure how to act like a normal person after what just happened.
We came in like civilized adults. We left like fry-obsessed lunatics.
They have this seasonal LENT special: BEER BATTERED FRIES. And I’m not being dramatic when I say these fries are so ridiculously good that you should have to personally apologize to them before eating them. Like, “I’m sorry for what I’m about to do… but you’re too delicious.”
I wanted to take a picture for this review. I really did. But between me and my wife it turned into a full-blown situation. Grab fry, eat fry, panic about how good fry is, repeat. There was no time. No survivors. Just crumbs and regret.
At one point we talked to a couple, Debbie and Ed, who were already mourning these fries like they’re being sent off to war after LENT ends. They explained they travel an hour and fifteen minutes or so just to bless themselves with this place. And honestly? They’re right. Removing these from the menu would be a crime against humanity. I’m not saying there will be riots but I’m also not not saying that.
The manager on shift, Billie Joe, was amazing and promised she’d try to do what she could with the fries so people don’t revolt ?. Bless her.
Everything else was amazing too and honestly good enough to keep people coming back. But I guarantee this: once these fries are gone people will still show up but they’ll be whispering about “the fries” like some lost legend. Owners I beg you think carefully before you take these away. The people may revolt.
Side note: the ranch was unreal. Definitely homemade, crazy flavorful. It showed up ready to compete not just sit on the sidelines.
Also grabbed the clam chowder after hearing multiple people hype it up around us and WOW. They were not lying. Absolute knockout.
I’ve lived around here for about 2 years and this place is always packed. That solid 4.1+ rating is well deserved. But these fries? Yeah. These fries are the missing .9 to make it a full 5-star experience. And lucky me I got them. So 5 stars it is baby.
If you take these fries away I’ll still leave my 5-star review but just know there will be a sad emoji ? sitting next to it in quiet protest.
They’re open every FRIDAY for LENT from 4 to 9. They open for the full season on May 22nd, so do yourself a favor and treat yourself. And if the fries disappear, request them back ?.
Thank you for the amazing atmosphere, great people, killer food, and all-around good vibes. Pet-friendly outside, kid-friendly everywhere. This place is the whole package.
But seriously. Those fries. OMG. God bless whoever crafted the beer that blessed those potatoes before the cook worked absolute magic for the rest of us ?
