“WAY MORE THAN IT APPEARS TO BE FROM THE OUTSIDE! PIX DONT DO THIS HOME JUSTICE!Came to watch a show. They were packed. HOWEVER~ the Owner (Gem of a Lady) insisted we(3)stay & listen. I'm so glad we did. We were permitted to tour room after room browsing through history. We did not stay overnight, but the rooms we peeked into were very well kept. Staff was politely cleaning rooms & resetting the candies. We were there 45min and still hadn't seen it all. LAKE COUNTY MUST SEE! There is a fabulous dining area as well as a coffee type area on lowest level. PLENTY OF PARKING HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE with ELEVATOR”

The work Bill and Lisa have done to bring this old house back to life is amazing. It is always a treat to visit the property.”

“We had our wedding here in July 2021 and I cannot say enough good things about Mooreland. We used the gardens for our engagement pictures and our wedding photos, and they are absolutely stunning. From its beautiful antiquated atmosphere to Normandy catering’s quality of food, everything was so lovely. The only reason I am writing a review two years later is because we are expecting our first child in July. I was hoping to take a few maternity photos in the gardens as well. It seems Kathy is no longer in charge of things, and the new manager is not as kind, and would not allow us to use the gardens for that purpose. I was hoping to be sentimental and have our love story unfold in the same place over the years, but this new manager, Tawny, won’t allow that to happen. I’m certain Kathy would have been able to accommodate after I explained the importance of the gardens. Just be aware that if you decide to have your wedding here, you likely won’t be allowed to return and reminisce over the good times. Very unfortunate.”

“We stayed at the Four Points the first night of the power outage. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. What was notable about our stay- whatever man they had working behind the counter the night of August 6th, hats off to you! We watched this man get berated by an absolutely ridiculous customer. He was yelling, cursing and making it near impossible for the hotel to resolve his complaint which in comparison to the absolute crisis the entire north part of the state was in at the time, was a small complaint. The man stay calm and collected the entire time while simultaneously taking care of other guests requests. The staff is top notch, I never would've made it through the night.”
