“Very neat collection of old furniture and other antique items to purchase. The owner is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. She was very helpful with finding exactly what I was looking for. I definitely recommend this place if you like shopping for antiques”
“Date of visit: August 24, 2018 I do not usually review shops, especially gift shops, but this one seems special. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, uncrowded and visually comfortable. The products, some made there, are suitable for gifts for your self and home, and gifts for others, which pretty much covers everyone. We purchased only a candle as a gift but would have purchased more if this had not been our last stop in Greenville, Ohio. There is always "next time". Although "home decor" may satisfy the category of this shop, the shopkeeper also displays many functional items for the home. And, I should mention a few articles of clothing.”
“My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM, but I arrived at the facility one day early at around 10:00 PM. Despite arriving well ahead of my appointment time, the forklift operator was extremely kind and accommodating. She took me in, assigned me a dock, and had me loaded in less than 20 minutes. I have never been to a facility where a driver was treated with such kindness, respect, and hospitality. I truly appreciate the excellent service and the welcoming attitude. This was an outstanding experience.”
Two familiar names now share one storefront. Bed Bath & Beyond and The Container Store opened their first co-branded location in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 16, and the concept is spreading to nearly two dozen stores in what the company calls phase one.
Bob's Discount Furniture is growing while its competitors shrink. The Manchester, Connecticut-based retailer reported strong fourth-quarter results in its first earnings call since going public in February, with revenue climbing 8.2% to $648.8 million. Full-year net revenue jumped 16.8% to $2.4 billion, and net income rose to $121.7 million from $87.9 million the prior year. CEO Bill Barton told analysts the company plans to open about 20 new stores in 2026 and sees a path to more than 500 locations by 2035, roughly two and a half times its current 209-store footprint across 26 states.
