“I have had a unit here for about 3 years. It was originally supposed to be a short term option but over the years we have kept it as an extra garage for storage that we don’t use on a day to day basis. However this bill is not always at the forefront of our minds and often gets forgotten. April in the main office has been so helpful! She calls and gives us kind reminders so we don’t get hit with late fees. She is so accommodating and her passion for her customers is unlike any other. She’s a great to speak with and always willing to work with us to get us back on track! Go April! Keep shining just as you are.”

“Jeff was amazing today! The Ottawa Hills location pretty much fcked our move when they closed before we were able to pick up our rental truck. We had made a reservation for 12:00, showed at 12:00 and they closed at 12:00, with absolutely no communication from the staff at the Ottawa Hills location. Customer service was able to find us a solution (after 45 minutes of being rerouted and called back) with Jeff. He stayed an hour after he was supposed to close up and got us into a truck last minute. He even had an adorable kitten that we got to snuggle with to make us feel a little better about the sht situation that we had been put in by the other location. If you're looking to use Budget (not recommended, but sometimes ya have to), Definitely look HERE first and avoid the Ottawa Hills location.”
“I did not rent a truck, I was looking for boxes/packing supplies. They had a couple sizes of boxes and some packing paper. It seems like this location is great for truck rentals, but as far as moving supplies are concerned, if you need more than boxes a different location might be the right choice for you.”
“My vehicle was broken down and I needed a vehicle and the cost of car rental prices were outrageous I was able to rent a pick up truck for a reasonable price. The staff at this location were very nice and great to work with.”
“We needed a truck to move a small apartment and this location was conveniently located. Inquired by phone and spoke with Mike. He was very helpful in recommending the correct size truck to do the job without over spending on a larger truck. The morning of our move we arrived at 9am. The truck was clean and gassed up waiting for us. Paperwork didn't long to complete. Mike took the time to share with us how everything on the truck worked. Mike was courteous, friendly and professional from the very beginning of this process to the end. Highly recommend this U-haul dealer.”

“These guys are doing the best they can with what they've got. All of the issues that the reviews mention are Crappy CORPORATE policies from Budget. They overbook reservation windows. They don't guarantee inventory when accepting reservations. They utilize deceptive policies and pricing. BUT - the gentlemen working at this location were literally running around sweating, trying to serve their customers. They deserve some recognition. If you MUST use Budget Truck, you could do worse than this location.”

“This place was VERY unprofessional. The manager that had her 1 year old child at work with her on the job was extremely rude. She would not even ask me questions or try to see what the mix up was with her employee that was doing the paper work. They tried to act like I wanted to rent a truck for theee days for $600 and then turn around and come right back. Moving a one way truck from Michigan to West Virginia for work permently. This place needs to be checked out the manager isn’t running this place professional and is not very good with talking to customers. I hope they get someone to come and see how these people are ruining U-Haul image I will not recommend this place to anyone. SAVE your self the head ache.”

“Today I had the worst experience with U-Haul. I spoke with some young lady who was very rude. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there was no manager. I called back and spoke with Nay and asked if she would have the manager give me a call. Nay was very nice and helpful. The manager Mark called me back and explained to me with regards to my reservation. Just wanted to give a shout out to Nay and Mark who were very helpful.”

“I rented a car at the airport that had a slow leak in the tire. I called the emergency service they brought a tow truck to the town I had driven to where I was staying and took that car and gave me a replacement car. Excellent excellent customer service I will spread the word and never forget it.”
