“It has been a long time since we visited this store. It had become dirty, smelly, and poor quality in merchandise and service. Wow, what a difference! We went in to get a children's recliner. Within minutes of some confusion of where to go, an associate approached us and was so helpful. We got the recliner and a shelf and were so satisfied with product selections and service that we are going back for a TV stand and some other things. The recliner is the perfect size and our granddaughter loves it. This store is convenient and has made a big change to what they were and what staff they had working were amazing. Definitely worth shopping here”

“I recently had a wonderful experience at Dollar General in Minerva, Ohio, that I just have to share. After a fantastic band performance in the area, my friends and I were looking for a quick, convenient stop to grab some refreshments. Luckily, Dollar General was perfectly situated on our route, making it an incredibly convenient pit stop.
The store itself was clean and well-organized, and I was particularly impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. They were welcoming and efficient, ensuring we could quickly find what we needed. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the selection of popsicles. After the excitement of the performance, nothing hit the spot quite like a cold, refreshing popsicle. The variety available was great, and the quality was top-notch. It was clear that these treats had been well-stocked and properly stored, as they were exactly what we needed to cool down and enjoy a sweet treat.

“Very pleasant & very informative when u ask them about any product. Whenever I've asked anything of them about a product or if i was searching for a specific item, they really try to give u the correct information or will make the effort 2 find out for you and the manager was working at the cash register & even discounted an item for me due to damage when hadn't even asked them to. it was the last one so I was buying it anyway! I really didn't mind either the damage didn't hurt what was on the inside of it! Lol! It was a kind gesture though so u see they were also very thoughtful was my point.”

“I really think district managers need to hire men to do the truck. Do they not realize how heavy that is. We used to do it at night because customers complained that merchandise was not out or in the way.

The girls are nice, and I think it needs cleaned up a little. Bathrooms are not good, but the public do it to them too.
It is very cluttered but has a lot out in some stores. Handicap accessible entrance and parking. I gave the stars to the girls .”

“Marc's in Alliance, Ohio is my go-to spot for all my shopping needs! The store is always well-stocked with great deals, and I love that I can find everything from groceries to home goods in one place. The staff is friendly and helpful, making my shopping experience smooth every time. The prices are unbeatable, especially in the closeout section. However this place only has self checkout, plus in the spot they put it, it's very difficult to unload and load groceries, and sadly there are only two of them so you have to wait in line for self check out, while there're two staff members perfectly capable of running two checkouts just standing around awkwardly. Not their fault though it's the person who came up with that idiotic idea. Other than that, this place is a great place to go shopping.”
