418 Woodford Road, Kelleys IslandA family business through and through, and you feel it the minute you walk onto the grounds. Toby Zettler and his son Kirt brought winemaking back to Kelleys Island in 1982, opening in the little Nick Smith House, which is now the KI Cantina. Back before Prohibition the island was covered in vineyards, and the Zettlers picked up that tradition and ran with it. The wines are still made and bottled right on site, and today the next generation runs the place. I grabbed something cold at one of those rainbow picnic tables under the big shade trees and could have stayed all afternoon. Three acres of a little bit of everything, a short golf cart ride from the dock. Proud to support a family operation like this one.

Caddy Shack Restaurant and Bar
115 Division Street, Kelleys IslandI visited in mid June and had a fun time. Had some shots and the bartender offered to show my friend and I some other cool spots which I took him up on. Good dude

418 Woodford Road, Kelleys IslandThe atmosphere of this place is great and it has a big open space with picnic tables where you can eat and relax and not have to worry too much about the kids as they can run around and play. The food was pretty good, but it was the set up they had there that really sold me!
