788 Crossings Rd, SanduskyBought some fish and shrimp for my tank. The female employee that helped was very sweet. However, either the price tags were misleading, or I was overcharged. The cherry shrimp tag said $3.99 each. I was charged $4.99 for six of them. Then the yellow shrimp said $4.99 but I was charged $5.99 for four of those. Unfortunately, I live thirty minutes away so I didn’t want to drive all the way back to check. I will be more vigilant next time!

917 Bardshar Rd, SanduskyMy wife and I stopped here a few weekends ago and I have to say, we enjoyed it on at least 3 different levels: My wife tried a flight of their wine and both the varieties (and portions) were excellent. More than that, though, I am not a big wine drinker so I tried their breakfast pizza, and it was literally one of the most delicious pizzas I have ever had. Lastly, we appreciated the atmosphere, which has plenty of cozy spots inside to soothe and cheer one up on even the dreariest of days (and the day we stopped by was dreary indeed). But with a glass of wine or two, excellent food, and friendly staff to help us, we were in good spirits in no time. The owner was also so welcoming and we enjoyed admiring some of the gorgeous furniture she uses for her wine displays.

1101 E Bayview Dr, SanduskyStopped here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with my husband. We had burgers and fries. Food was ok. It was served hot. Jenn our waitress was awesome. She checked in several times.
We came for the location. There is a nice outside seating area and a beautiful view of the bay. I highly recommend Bayside area. We normally go to Sandusky or Marblehead but this was a very nice change of scenery. If your up that way, stop in to Rayz!!

1911 Superior St, SanduskyI adopted a kitten from the humane society of Erie county at their kitten yoga event on July 17. The event was so fun, and our adoption experience was wonderful. Our sweet Junie was happy, playful, clean, and so well socialized and loved by the time she found her forever home with us. HSEC’s staff and foster families do a tremendous job caring for their animals and preparing them for adoption. Couldn’t say enough good things about their organization!
