“Wow! This has to be one of the best if not the best plant cultivation shops in the Columbus area. In addition to having supplies, the easy to talk to and plentiful knowledge of the employees makes me feel like I can achieve growing just about anything! Today, employee Erik showed me the incredible root system on his peppers at the end of the season and I am blown away. I can't wait to start my next garden with whatever he says he used to get healthy rooths like that, even in a grow bag and during a drought!! Thanks Erik!”

“Went there Sunday morning with my wife. We had 2 different plants we were looking to plant. Turns out they had both. We bought 6 burning bushes and 4 blue rug juniper plants. All of them were very nice . They come with a 1 year warranty guarantee which is a good deal. It was alot of work for this 65 year old man to get them planted. Took me 2 days but they look good.”

There are a lot of employees, but most are not knowledgeable about plants, just ask at the register and they will get someone who can answer your questions.”
“Delivery was fast and on-time, product was fairly priced, and the gravel was perfectly placed when it was dumped into me driveway. I very much appreciated the care the driver took to dump the gravel exactly where I had requested. It made my usage of the gravel much easier because of the easy of access to it.”

“Shawnee Hills Strader's is my local garden center. I've been coming here for 5 years. Today when I showed up they were training new folks and I announced that I wanted to buy several products to amend my raised garden beds. The employees in the know about raised bed gardening told me that I only really needed 1 of those products and steered me in the right direction. It cost me less money, and they got less of a sale, but the fact that they care is huge. It's why I keep coming back and don't go to the national chains.”
“They're great. It's always easy to find someone when you need help, and the staff is very friendly. The service desk employees go above and beyond to make sure that they resolve any issues. Now I find out they offer free delivery on some items? Amazing. It's super helpful when you have a booked schedule and only have a day at most to take care of some projects. Suddenly you can take your little evening downtime to put together list and poof, it's all there when you need it without spending hours getting there, searching around and getting back. I love shopping there, but the online experience is clutch.

“I just needed some superglue today for a small repair. Parked and began to walk in the store when an employee who appeared to be on break outside asked me if he could help find something. Told me where the glue was and I knew where it was before even walking into the store. Didn't catch his name but he was older and wore a big brown coat.”
“I had a very disappointing experience with the Lowe's which is up the road. So I came here and a very nice young lady named Olivia helped me to buy my new very lightweight weed wacker. :) I am still grumpy with the local Lowe's and am so happy that there is a very nice alternative. And home Depot also gives a veteran/military discount similiar to the one that Lowe's offers. Thank you for the GREAT customer service. I will be back. I got a great deal...my new weed wacker was under a hundred bucks! The one that I had purchased from Lowe's was MUCH heavier and broke after just a few uses...evil thing..haha. Working with that stupid thing caused me so much stress. I am so excited to try this new lightweight battery operated one! :)”
