“My wife and I have lived at Oakwood Apartments in Lexington, Ohio, for about 8 years, and we want to take a moment to recognize Kendall Bertoch, the Community Director, for the outstanding job she does. Over the years, my wife and I have experienced some health challenges that created financial difficulties for us. During those difficult times, Kendall was always understanding, sympathetic, and willing to work with us. She went above and beyond to help us through those situations, and, perhaps most importantly, she always treated us with dignity and respect. She never made us feel like we were less than anyone else because we were going through a difficult time. Kendall has been at Oakwood for the same 8 years that we have, and we have personally seen the dedication and hard work she puts into her job and the community. Her compassion and willingness to help make a real difference. We are very grateful to have had someone like Kendall here during the years we have called Oakwood home. “Nice place. Pretty well maintained. Locked building is nice. Only complaint would be that people leave laundry in washers and dryers over night and all day. That's inconsiderate. Could also maybe use another handicap parking spot for each building instead of just one.”
