Giant Eagle Supermarket is a grocery store offering a wide range of products and services, including fresh produce, household essentials, a deli, bakery, and a top notch liquor store. It provides an in-store pharmacy, a rewards program, and grocery pickup and delivery. The store aims to provide fresh, high quality foods at everyday low prices. Customer experiences vary. Some employees are highlighted as being very welcoming, smiling, and helpful, creating a friendly atmosphere where shoppers leave with a smile. Shoppers report that staff can be really friendly and helpful in finding items. However, several criticisms are noted. Some customers feel the store costs way too much, with prices getting higher while product sizes get smaller. There are complaints about bad quality food, including finding rotten produce and purchasing expired product, which requires careful checking of dates. Some mention there are sometimes long waits in line and a wish for more vegan or vegetarian options.
