That was certainly true with my recent experience at Sindur Jewelry.
I had some jewelry that was no longer bringing me joy, and while I wanted to part with it, I also wanted a fair price and hoped the pieces might eventually find the right people.
I tried the online route first with a few broken pieces. Easy process … very low offers.
I considered pawn shops too, but these were beautiful pieces and deserved more thoughtful evaluation.
After several Google searches, I kept coming back to Sindur Jewelry. I visited the website, and immediately the collection felt right. Curated. Intentional. Collected rather than accumulated.
So, I scheduled an appointment.
Inside an unassuming office building in, I walked down a dim hallway, rang the bell, and was warmly greeted.
As I sat on a soft sofa waiting, I looked around the space. Not just at the eclectic collection of jewelry, but at the level of curation throughout the entire studio. Even the coat rack held a thoughtfully placed fur jacket. Everywhere you looked there were carefully considered objects, textures, and adornments.
My pieces were carefully reviewed by the gracious team, and I was offered a fair price for each.
I ended up having delightful conversations with every member of the three-person team, including Sindur herself.
I left genuinely impressed … and fairly certain I’ll return someday as a shopper.

“So impressed with Taylor Healy Jewelry. Brought in some loose stones and worked with Taylor to design a sapphire and diamond ring. He came up with a variety of ideas and we worked together to come up with the perfect design. It was extremely helpful to try on a wax mold of the design to ensure that it would work. He also was able to reduce the ring size in a different ring without compromising the side diamonds that another jeweler said couldn't be done. This is where I will be going for any future jewelry design or jewelry modification needs.”
