“I've used Foreign Exchange in the past and was very satisfied, so I thought I would bring my Lotus in even though they aren't Lotus specialists, and it is a bit of an unusual car. They went above and beyond to figure out why the car was pulling to the right. Turns out there was a shim in the wrong spot, likely from a previous alignment error by someone else. I don't know how long it took them to figure out that problem, but they only charged me the standard price for an alignment. With that straightened out and the new tires on it the car is now dialed in perfectly. They know what they are doing and they really seem to love cars. They clearly wanted to get it right, and they did. I won't bring my cars to anyone else.February 2024:A little update, I seem to like bringing challenges to this shop. My kid and I thought we would change out the original 25 year old suspension on our Audi TT with some nice performance coilovers as a father/son project. The internet said it was easy as cake. 3 days later and we had done more damage than good. I had the car towed over to FE, told them what we where trying to do, and gave them a huge box of parts they had never seen before. A few days later they call me up to take a look and let them know how I like the height of the car. I chatted with Clifton, who was one of the techs working on the car. He told me about everything they did and everyone they talked to about how to best set up the this car with an adjustable suspension. The car now looks great, drives great, and is much better prepared for the Autocross we will be throwing at it. I am always amazed at how much care and knowledge everyone at FE puts into their work. “Over the past two years I rebuilt the engine and transmission on my Ford Mustang, with everything going on in my life I realized I was not going to have the time or space needed to reinstall them. I was referred to this shop by several other people on a Mustang group on Facebook and was not disappointed. Called them and within 2 hours had a tow truck ready and by the time I got back to the car they pretty much were just waiting for me to start the car. Time estimate I gave them for me being there was dead on so he was just ready. On top of it just had a very pleasant man work with my extremely limited car knowledge and was in and out somewhere between 5-10 minutes.
