DO NOT WAIST UR MONEY ON THIS TERRIBLE INTERNET you can get way better internet for 5-10 dollars cheaper and 100+ mbs more this company is terrible I’ve had nothing but issues for the last year DO NOT WAIST UR MONEY ON THIS INTERNET!!!!!! Edit: if you are looking for internet I recommend ur cellphone service company I have Verizon I get 300mbps for 45$ a month

Amplex finally came into town with their fiber. They installed it very quick and very neatly. The installer was really friendly and knowledgeable. The speeds are incredible. I got the 500 package and my speeds are 550 download and 480 upload. No lag playing games or watching movies.

Their internet service is constantly shutting itself off and needs rebooted. Looks like they are pushing their own router thing now so they're playing games likely. They also like to cancel your entire service because you haven't had a chance to drop off an add on piece of equipment for phone service i had shut off because they raised their fees and i didnt use the phone anyways. Account is current though...weird how that works...I called 2 hours ago and they said someone would call me back but as you can see, im writing this now, so they haven't . They had time to block me on social media though. Pretty sad. I'll just have to go back to my at&t hot spot service like i had before.

I have been with Amplex for many years. Unfortunately, we have been experiencing sporadic internet service issues over the last few months. These outages are frustrating as they tend to happen, while I am working, during business hours. I call support and get the runaround. The last time I called, the service tech automatically blamed my router and said he couldn't do anything to help. I know it is not my router but I have patiently followed their instructions and for the last couple of outages rebooted my router. I was also told I needed to unplug the power supply of their wireless dish from the UPS strip and plug it directly into the wall. Like rebooting the router, this has done nothing to fix the issue. For each outage, I have to wait several minutes and the internet service will magically begin working again, regardless of whether I call support or not. It feels like Amplex no longer cares about their long-term residential customers. Maybe if I was one of their fiber customers they would care about delivering reliable service. Unfortunately, I cannot get fiber service even though I live less than four miles from their home office. I'm sincerely hoping a competitor comes in and provides service to our area so I can switch companies.

I used to have internet service with Hughes Net because that was the only thing available in my area. I would recommend to stay away from that company (Hughes Net) because, in my opinion, it is the worst thing you can have.About six or seven years ago, I heard about Amplex, so I signed up with them. When I started the service, the closest towers to my house were in Fremont and Port Clinton. The service was fast then. I never had bogged down internet or outages. Fast enough to do what I need to do (pay my bills, shop, watch Netflix, Amazon prime and basically stream anything I need to stream without any issues). Since then, they installed a repeater at a tower located about a mile away from my house. To this day, I am still very satisfied with the Amplex service. I am only waiting for them to make it to our area with the fiberglass service they are now working on. To conclude, I highly recommend Amplex.

Derek installed fiber at my house yesterday. He did an outstanding job. Damage to the front yard and driveway was negligible. We had to locate and avoid my invisible dog fence wire during the trenching. He didn't break the wire. The box installed on the side of the house was clean, square to the house, and unnoticeable. I am a helicopter technician by trade and am very particular about detail and organization. Wires must be neatly bundled and easy on the eyes. I was completely satisfied with the installation. I can't believe I have 500++mbps out in the country. Thank you, Derek and Amplex!!Kudos again to Derek!!Justin Marsh

They really have you by the short and curlys if you live where they are the only option. No consistent connection with the excuse the “network capped out. But it should be ok now”. Pay for their cloud burst package that was suppose to solve all the issues. 7/17/23 4th night in a row I been booted no less than 5 times at 11:48pm you know peak time for the network to cap. If you live in the nw Ohio area thst they cover I highly recommend anything but them if there is an option!!

Didn't want to leave a one star because we don't have your service. You are turning down business and forcing people to go with other providers because your installs are a month out. People cannot go without internet for a month with work and school in 2023. Very bad business practice.

We gave Amplex a try because it sounded great! No contracts, No fees and reasonably priced, right??? Wrong! The TV service was always buffering, giving error codes and over all a pain. The WIFI was going in and out 4-6 times a day. Their WIFI also would NOT keep our security cameras running as we were told it would. When I called to cancel I was informed that for the first YEAR you ARE under a contact and that I would be charged a $200 early termination fee and Also be charged the full monthly rate of $154 for 5 days of service (which they had also just increased) making the total of this month $354. Border line scam if you ask me. To recap their service is shotty at best and their customer service is non existing. Don't be tricked into thinking there is no contract and you can cancel with out fees if the service does not work as well as they claim. I would choose a different company.

I pay for 30mbs download and 3 mbs upload.I get 1-5 mbs download and 5 mbs upload.The service is spotty at best and I have been pretty much ignored at this point by the tech support. They got to the point where they said "we dont know what the problem is, its not on our end, we cant do anything about it".They would then hang up on anyone in my household when they would try to call tech support. We have literally no other choice in this area because of course we dont, thats just how ISPs work these days when they carve out areas for exclusive service.If my internet actually gets fixed theyll get a better review but I HIGHLY doubt this will happen.

Great customer service. Fast set up. the start up process and date of servie was set up so quickly. They reall went above and beyond with their services they have to offer. I would highly recommend Amplex to everyone its available to. Overall 10/10!
