“I am thankful for the MCF allowing Pleasant to set up a fund to assist teachers in purchasing items needed in their classrooms (versus so many teachers spending their own earned funds to do so).Special thanks to Pleasant BOE member Annette Holler for having the vision to create this endowment. These funds will ensure that the staff has the needed classroom items to help their students grow in both knowledge and life skills!”
“I had to visit here in July 2023 to receive help with food and they are so nice and generous with their offerings. I was so humbled by the sheer generosity of how much they actually gave to me and my family that I cried on my way home. I was and still am so thankful that there are still people like them out here in this world today.”
“I want to thank the aquilic (How ever you spell it) department from the bottom of my heart! Jeremy, for saving my granddaughters life! He acted quickly and she's alive today because of him doing CPR in a timely matter, my granddaughter had a seizer in the pool and my son and staff pulled her from the pool and Jeremy quickly did CPR! I am so thankful for him and I hope God blesses him through out his life. He is a hero!!!!!!”
“Great store. Outstanding staff. Wish they would stop smashing glass and bring some of it out. Also, stop pulling everything for online sale! There are plenty of people in the store that would buy it if you priced it right! Just saying, save the company time and make regulars happy. :) thanks for your hard work and effort! :)”

“If you're looking for a very inexpensive thrifty things that you need you will be in the right spot. Women's clothes everywhere children's clothes ... A lot. Not too many mens clothes. Knick knacks a lot. You might get lucky and find one that's vintage, I have. Sometimes you can go there and pick up stereo equipment. Pretty much anything you're looking for you might want to check there first you just never know. I sometimes get lucky and get great record albums there. Definitely stop there first before you go shopping other places you might get lucky.”
“As a video production company that has worked with United Church Homes for years, we’ve had the unique privilege of seeing behind the scenes at most of their communities. Never have we worked with an organization that is so thoroughly dedicated to helping others, let alone one that does it with such determination, vigor, and grace. You can see the passion in their faces, and hear the integrity in their voices. They welcome all as family, advocate for the elderly, and continuously succeed at creating a culture of community, wholeness, and peace. If you are looking for a secure, whole-hearted place for your aging loved ones— a place that will put your loved ones’ interests above all else and keep your mind at ease— then look no further, you’ve found the right place.”
“Absolutely amazing people here that are so nice and helpful! They helped me and my fiancé with parenting classes, baby items, support and so much more! I’m very thankful that I went here!! If you’re considering it, do it!”
