I have seen firsthand how MCF does so much good in our community through grants and scholarships, thanks to many generous people who have left a legacy through their endowments.
Since 1998, area residents have been turning to Marion Community Foundation to make their philanthropic giving as effective as possible. We are a public charity serving thousands of people who share a common concern ... improving the quality of life in Marion County (Ohio).
Individuals, families, businesses and organizations create permanent charitable funds that help our community meet the challenges of changing times. The Foundation invests and administers these funds, which total 450+ and growing.
We then use distributions from the funds to award $2.5 million+ in grants and scholarships annually to many of the humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations in this remarkable community we call home.
