About Marion County Historical Society
The Marion County Historical Society is open Wednesday through Sunday from 1pm to 4pm. The $6 adult admission includes a tour of Heritage Hall and the Marion Popcorn Museum, featuring a Woodland Elves and telephone collection, a mock general store, and exhibits on President Harding and Mary Ellen Withrow, among a slew of others. The tour guide was knowledgeable and excited. Visitors receive free fresh-popped popcorn. The museum is much larger than expected, with a fantastic collection of Warren G. Harding items in the basement. It is a great way to spend $6. The organization is currently seeking volunteers.
