I stayed here for 2 nights and was impressed by the friendly and professional conduct of the owner and staff members. Despite a remodel project underway, Everything was functional. I’d come back again and recommend it to my friends associates. They even provided me with transportation from the truck repair facility I called from !

Rooms very clean and comfortable their rooms are the 1st ones we don't have to put our own sheets in the bed before we lay on it any other hotel we have to put our own sheets on the bed their refrigerator is even cleaned and not covered in

No idea what the bad reviews are about. Service was great, staff were kind and accommodating. Went in to check out the room, lifted up the sheets and mattress, checked under the chair cushion, all perfectly clean. Room was comfortable and quiet.Breakfast was good, hot and cold items. Pool/hot tub were clean and nice.All around it is a good budget hotel. Would stay again.

ALERT! Don’t stay here! The hotel has BED BUGS and COACHES in the dining area. We found bedbugs on both beds we were sleeping in. I got bit by a BEDBUG on my neck! The room was dirty with stains all over the carpet, spiderwebs in the corners of the bathroom and a used bar of soap was by the sink!I spoke to the Manager about the bedbugs and getting bit. He said I could have brought the bedbugs in with me. He informed me that a Pest Control Inspector was coming tomorrow. My concern is that by then, housekeeping could have cleaned the sheets and put in new mattresses.I was also told by the manager that he would submit the inspection results to Diamond Tours and would not talk to me directly. Why would you not want a happy guest that would leave a good review and come back for repeated stays?I don’t want anyone else to have to go through the cleaning process that it takes to be sure they don’t bring any critters back and infest their home. Take my advice and stay elsewhere.

Had a perfect stay here. Very clean all around, comfortable beds, good wifi, solid breakfast (meat and eggs, muffins bagels cereal yogurt and some other stuff). Check-in was quick and friendly. All good!

Don't stay here. What passes for the free breakfast does not meet even there most basic standards of breakfast food. The poor front desk service is common knowledge to other hotels in the area. The air conditioner in the room did not respond to the controls. When I requested a blanket I was given a sheet. They said they had a charging cord for my husband's iPhone, but when I went to pick it up, ( they only had one) they had to sheepishly call and ask the friend they had lent it to, to bring it back. There was a short in the standing lamp that so frightened me I unplugged it. And it wasn't even a deal. Closer to $500 for two nights. Don't stay here.

It's hard to find anything negative to say, other than check-in was a bit slow. Property is in excellent condition and immaculately clean. In all my vast travels, this hotel also has the largest selection of TV channels I have ever seen (including HBO, Max, sports, kids, etc.) Internet was decent. Breakfast was about average for budget hotel, but as low-carber, I appreciated the hot protein options. Plenty of hot water and pressure. VERY convenient for King's Island. It was less than 10 min drive after long, exhausting day at park. I will return.

This best western is located in mason, ohio, and it is the trashiest hotel I ever stayed at. And also the customer services and their mission statement is Trash I spoke with a manager to get my money And he said he could not refund my money. So they are scamming people and ripping people off and they have BED BUGS they have pictures of a hot tub and it does not work

Our room was 102. Difficult getting my husbands scooter in but doable. Our reservation dates were incorrect however the Manager was able to accommodate us and as we were exhausted. We appreciate their efforts greatly. The rooms are very clean as was the pool and exercise areas. We didn't use the pool but did survey the area. The breakfast offerings were posted outside the cafe. Typical waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, juice. The only fault of this hotel is the breakfast area was stifling HOT. We will recommend staying but getting your breakfast plate and returning to your room to enjoy. Please remember to tip the attendant. They had a computer area to catch up with family, friends or business. Our room was well appointed but tiny. The beds were comfortable, the water in the shower hot, they had a comfortable chair as well as a desk and chair in room. Our closet was very small. TV was operational and enjoyable. The front desk took care of all our needs. Perfect nights rest. Most definitely would recommend this Best Western to all passing through the area and those visiting the local attraction for multiple days. The Management is first class, property clean inside and out and most importantly, SAFE. Multiple eateries close by. Have a great visit at Best Western Mason! I know we will visit again soon!!

Well, priced right was about it. If it was brand new in the 90’s it might have been good. Location was the only good thing tbhService did help quickly by changing our rusty old shower head promptly. Dirty, 80’s style fitness room.Again, location is safe / greatRooms: Nice bed. That’s about it. Rooms were dated. Shower dirtyFood & drinks: Not great. Limited free breakfast

* DO NOT STAY HERE* I wish I could give this place no stars because of how horrific our experience was. We (husband, myself and 22 month old) stopped here passing through on vacation and had the worst experience. First of all room prices were outrageous ($200/night). Second huge issue- I religiously check hotel mattresses for bed bugs and had my husband check one of the beds before we got settled in only to find USED NEEDLES under the mattress. We were horrified and immediately went downstairs to tell the girl at the front desk and to get a refund because we were not staying there after that. No apology, just asked “did you use the room” (she literally watched us walk in 5 min earlier) and then told us “she could switch our rooms, no problem.” This was not something to mitigate and we were very upset. She downplayed the entire situation and then told us we couldn’t get a refund since we already checked in. Finally, she told us only her supervisor could do it, this was after going back and forth and she wouldn’t give us a reason as to why she couldn’t process a refund. And then proceeded to tell us we had to call and that he was only available M-F 8-5 (this was on a Saturday 1AM that this happened). I told her I’d be happy to dispute it with my credit card and she SMILED and said “ok that’s fine.” So beware if you are traveling, especially with children. The owners and staff obviously do not care about cleanliness or doing the right thing for their guests.*edit to say that after charging back the room cost and calling customer service we have had no assistance. We were charged over $200 for a room we did not stay in due to safety. I am disgusted by this business and company.*another edit, I have tried speaking to a manager, customer service anyone and I have been hung up on multiple times and refused a refund for somewhere I didn’t stay. I will never. Stay at another best western owned hotel again. The customer service is horrific.
