“Four stars, because this was a rough process, but in the end a few folks at this business worked hard to make it right.

Do it your-selfer building a deck. Came in to order material, with a materials list; computer imaging of the actual deck-to-be, and a few questions about railing systems.
My advice, make sure you are talking to someone who works with the material you need. For me, I needed Timbertech. The fella who was there the day I came in, clearly is not a Timbertech guy. Or at the very least, needs more training.
We ended up with a number of extra things, and missing half our railing system.

The day the delivery was scheduled, I was working from home so I could show the driver where to place the material. Wasn't hard, driveway was empty. Just stack it off to one side.
Instead, he drives through my yard, which had just been landscaped (new build house) and deposits the material in the grass. Material that was too heavy for me to move onto the driveway myself. He also leaves a stack of material on the opposite side of the driveway, in the grass -- which we later find out wasn't even ours, and they show up to collect unannounced. That was a whole separate issue.

In the end, we fixed our own yard as nothing notably was done about that. But they did get the mis-ordered material exchanged for the needed items and refunded the appropriate amounts. This process took way more time than necessary but ended up okay.”

“Needed a clay riser shipped to Buffalo, NY over a holiday weekend, even though they typically don't ship them due to breakage risks. They couldn't guarantee it would arrive intact, but they did their best, and it arrived perfectly packed!
