“me and my husband have been living here since nov/dec (2025) due to the overwhelming rise in cost of living, and this is a cozy place! the maintenance worker is an amazingly funny, nice guy, and i’ve only had a little bit of attitude from one office worker—but i’ve had my fair share of days when i’ve acted bitchy at work also, so who can blame someone in a bad mood? we have our own bed and furniture, so the accomodation is amazing and the location is so close to mentor ave that all recreational and essential destinations are close by! the worst part is it isn’t in the *most* walkable location, and some short term guests can be a bit… odd… but i would recommend this place to anyone looking for cheaper rent than a traditional house/apartment arrangement!”
“We stopped in on a cross-country journey from Albany to Chicago. It is about half-way located in Painesville OH near Cleveland. We wanted a local hotel to distinguish from all the chains along the way. A great rescue story of a historic house painstakingly rebuilt and lovingly decorated. The rooms stay open if not occupied for other guests to view them. The staff was friendly and attentive, with a nice bar for evening beverages and a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning.”
“Warm & inviting atmosphere, the delicious Beef brisket entrée, and an amazing menu to explore~ The Lodge has delighted us with each visit.
Classic dishes stay on their menu, creative meals follow the shifts in seasons. The more often we go, the better they show the skills that make dining out such a pleasure.

“Excellent staff. One night stay and the bedrooms were obviously cleaned except for small spots of pink mold along the bottom rim of the shower and some stickiness on the bottom of the coffee pot.
Free laundry room, quiet, outdoor pool, AMAZING breakfast. Best included breakfast I’ve had”
“Management Ms. Lisa and her employees are very nice professional very helpful and willing to help if we need towels and bed sheets and blankets. Everything in the room is cleaned well by the house keeping department.This is a good place to stay and safe environment. I recommend this hotel establishment that everyone should stay at.”

“Literally my home away from home. My job entails making deliveries in the northern areas of Ohio which span across 2 days, times per week. I’ve been checking into the Four Points on the first day of my route (2 times per week) for about a year now. The staff are very polite, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean which is a big plus. And the beds are very comfortable.
For the Truckers
They also have a huge parking lot that’s very trucker friendly. I’ve always had an easy time finding a parking spot for my day cab along with my 48ft trailer. I’ve often shared the same parking areas with other semis as well while still having lots room to maneuver out the parking lot after my 10 hour reset.
Overall a great place to spend the night and recharge for the next day.”

“It was my first time staying at The Willow Lodge Extended Stay my man was happy with the accommodations as well. The location was great close to different places to eat out etc. The room was clean and we liked the fact that it was affordable. We will be returning sometime soon. The staff was friendly and helpful no real complaints.”

“Had a breakdown at 3 in the morning passing through Cleveland. After contacting a few hotels with ridiculous rates, I called red roof and they gave me a very fair rate. I was expecting a lot less than what I got. The room was clean, mattress was comfortable without any stains.
Pleasantly surprised but definitely a good value motel.”

“Overall, I had a good experience staying here. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the TV in the room was very small for a hotel room, which made it a little harder to relax and watch anything comfortably.
One tip for future guests: I highly recommend getting the breakfast voucher when booking your room. They do not offer a self serve breakfast, and paying without the prepaid voucher can end up costing more.
Despite the small TV, the stay was comfortable and the service was great. I would stay here again.”
