My check engine light came on while driving to work this morning. I pulled over and happened to be right by the O’Riley auto parts store. I stopped in and was immediately offered a warm welcome, followed by, "How can I help you today?" I asked the young woman behind the counter, Shermaine, if she could run a diagnostic test on my car. She happily obliged and was able to recommend new spark plugs as a solution. I immediately purchased new plugs and was able to install them myself. This completely resolved the issue, and my car is up and running perfectly. When I asked Shermaine what she thought about the issue, she offered to give me her boss's card, as he’s a mechanic and would be better suited to answer my questions. Shermaine really went above and beyond to provide exemplary customer service. The prices were affordable, and the customer service was stupendous. This store will definitely be my preferred auto parts store moving forward. Give this young woman a raise; she deserves it.

The girl up front was super nice and helpful, but the guy in commercial was typing on the computer then took a call and started helping someone else look up parts while I stood there waiting. I just put my stuff back on the shelf, and left the store. I definitely won't be back. If you don't like dealing with the public, then maybe you should consider finding another job!

What’s so hard about hiring friendly staff, without attitudes, mentor store has the worst customer service. Go to Painesville. There more friendly and know what there doing

Today I went to this place and I have never felt so uncomfortable. I needed a battery and they were supposed put the new battery in the truck. The first guy to help said well I'm not a mechanic and if something goes wrong it's not my fault. I waited and waited and waited as I sat in the truck I could hear him cursing. And he kept going back and fourth into the store not saying a word to me. Next thing I know some other guy is working on it. Well I went inside the store with my mother in law and the gentleman that was working on the battery in the truck came into the store on his cell phone talking very very rudely about the situation that was going on. Inever ever felt so uncomfortable in my life. I will not be back.

Went in today and was ignored by Matthew because whatever he was typing in the computer was way more important than taking care of a customer....went and bought my parts from Napa on tyler...will not be back

Told David my engine light was on so he gave us the free ✔️ check. Pinned it down to either an oxygen sensor or the Catalytic Converter. Hard to believe just passing Echeck last week. David took a call leaving me standing there. The manager happily picked up where David left off and checked on three other problems while I was there. Unfortunately, he said I would probably need to visit the local dealership for my brand of car as the other three problems only a dealer could get the parts for. I thanked him for his honesty.?
