Went to eat on central after 5 pm. Not so good and no reputable people just homeless. Lots of empty buildings.

Downtown middletown has so many different places to hangout. There is small businesses, family owned restaurants, seasonal events, and everything is in one area so it’s all walkable

Very quiet little town or at least it seemed to be we walked around through the historical version and then we walked a little more in this kind of rise a lot of places are boarded up my x wife was living on the streets here I'm sure it was pretty hard.
