Good snack, wine(beer,soft drinks and water available) and a trio playing some smooth jazz. Cozy and not a lot of seating but art galore. Check them out.”

“We checked out the adventures club show after seeing it listed on a things to do in our area this weekend. The cast and location were great. After driving by the location for years while going to an area dentist it was nice to check it out. We had a bad experience with an audience member behind us who wouldn't shut up about how he knew one of the actors was a parent of someone in the audience. That ruined things a bit but the show and everything that was there was great.”

“Eisele Gallery is a fine art gallery located in Mariemont, Ohio. The gallery features a wide variety of paintings and other works of art by both established and emerging artists. It is very conveniently located right near downtown Mariemont with plenty of close parking at the rear of the building.I recently had the opportunity to visit Eisele Gallery with my family. We were immediately impressed by the gallery's wide selection of art. There was something for everyone, from an original Charlie Harper (a personal favorite artist) to some fascinating steampunk type insects.We especially enjoyed attending the art unveiling of a recent piece commissioned by the city of Mariemont. The unveiling was a festive event, with lots of people and even refreshments. There was also an auction for prints and other pieces that night. We had the opportunity to meet the artist and learn more about her work.Overall, we had a great experience at Eisele Gallery. It is a great place to view and purchase art, and it is also a great resource for art lovers of all ages. “I attended a small concert at "The Barn" in Mariemont for the first time and was pretty impressed. Sitting in a beautiful neighborhood, I pulled up to valet parking (other parking options existed) and started to explore. The barn is a local landmark and part of Mariemont's history. Purchased by Woman's Art Club of Cincinnati and converted into a venue for local arts and an art gallery. The concert was held upstairs (elevator or stairs accessible) in a barn loft setting - refined rustic. The acoustics were great and plenty of seating options available (as well as bathrooms). Check out their calendar of events and find an excuse to do some exploring yourself!”
“I surprised my parents with a class as an anniversary present. They would never do this on their own initiative. Neither are artsy in any fashion yet they enjoyed themselves. It is a very relaxed atmosphere. Instructor was very easy-going. She demonstrated each step. She was not critical of our lack of talent. It is a great way to make a memory and intermingle with each other. And plus you get a souvenir-a personal masterpiece!”
“I acquired a lovely piece, a media cabinet that looks like an armoire. The challenge was getting it home. At 6'8" tall and made of solid wood, this was going to be a cumbersome task.James to the rescue! He was quick to offer 2 different business cards of people he felt comfortable recommending. I called "Adam", and I'm glad I did.He was able to work around very short notice. He picked up the piece without my having to be there. He and his associate worked quickly once they arrived at my house. They worked with care, placed the piece right where I wanted it, and were probably gone in 20-25 minutes.So thanks to The Velvet Cricket for offering options to that last step in giving the furniture a new home. I was in polite and professional hands.”

“As a child, more than fifty years ago, I was made aware of a Family document.I have cherished it ever since. I worried about it, stuck between the pages of a Life magazine for decades.With the passing of first the grandparents, and then the parents,it came to be mine.At the time. given family demands, I was unable to professionally preserve it, but I did put it between archival sheets, in a climate controlled space.Finally, the time was right. My wife and I took my beloved document to Nancy at Row House Gallery, where Nancy guided us through the selections of Glass, Frame, Matting and Layout, as well as a knowledgeable commentary of each element.I held the finished project, Christmas 2023, and my heart soared.Thank you Nancy. You have created and preserved an heirloom that reminds me of the family I loved.”
