He also explains everything super well and works well with our schedule! The vet techs are super nice too and they are all so caring! I live about 35 minutes away and have vets closer but I love this place and do not mind the drive!”

It’s a small office but plenty of seating. Be sure to use the back door for entry!!! I will continue to go here for my pets routine care as long as they remain open!!”

“We had never been to this place before. My sister-in-law told my husband about it, and the best part is that they have everything separated, one section for dogs and another for cats. Ignacio (my cat) needed vaccinations. The receptionists were very friendly, and then the nurse and the veterinarian were excellent at explaining every detail. Even though Ignacio was scared, they handled him very carefully and lovingly so we all knew he was in good hands. There was also a very kind lady who gave him treads. We should definitely go back soon for more vaccinations and to get him fixed.
I hope to bring my dog to this place too. ❤️”

“I would give 100 stars if I could! GREAT experience. Took my 15yr old cat for a rabies shot. VIP vets are very professional and it was super organized. Easy in and out and very affordable. I also had some paperwork that needed filled out by the vet, and they did it without question and a smile on their face. I highly recommend VIP PetCare Vaccination Clinic. Only cost $44 total. If I had taken him to my regular vet it would have cost well over $100 maybe even $200

“This is a wonderful, compassionate veterinary clinic that has provided great care to our pets for many years. It's not just the routine healthcare we appreciate, but it's the difficult issues where we've found comfort in knowing proper, loving care has been administered. Our dog, Jax, was been coming here for years for routine checkups and immunizations, but when it was discovered he had cancer in one of his dew claws, we were grateful that the cancer was skillfully removed with great care. Jax recovered fully. Then when Scout, one of our elderly cats, was so ill that he couldn't go on, the staff made him and us comfortable as we said goodbye to him. Their empathy and final care was so appreciated. And now, Steve, our Turkish Van of 13 years, has become ill and has been seen by both Dr. Ryan Gates and Dr. Eric Allie. I am so grateful to how kind, gentle and patient they were with him on both visits. Both vets were also patient with me, as I had so many questions for them, and they provided answers to everything. My wife and I deeply appreciate this clinic and staff for all they have done for our beloved pets.”
“I recently got a new kitten and she was having some urinary issues. Everyone there was so kind and they took the time to find an appointment for her. They spent time figuring out what the issue was and genuinely cared about getting her back to herself!”
“A trustworthy, caring practice. Affordable too. We love Dr Kline, who has treated all our pets really well. I do wish they still treated guinea pigs, but I can understand focusing on nonexotics when they have so many customers.
The staff are nice too, although it can get very busy.”
“The team here are absolutely amazing. Dr. Semen has been our vet for years. She's given us advice when managing end of life care for our late cat Will. She takes emergency visits and even answers questions when we panic for our older kitties. Her staff even helped us meet and take home our youngest LuciPurr. They're so compassionate and caring and I am thankful for all of them.”

I always feel well informed about any issues with my pet's health, they are thorough in the diagnostic process, treat my cats with love and care, and they are connected with a 24hr animal hospital (so the care is cohesive if a hospital visit is needed).”

“First of all, I am appalled by the one star reviews because I have been coming to Highland Vet following Dr. O'Connor from previous vet in Barberton. I travel fro Hartville to receive the best services. First of all, Covid and remodeling has left it a bit inconvenient, but sometimes there is a reason for long delays. I have had to put my animal down, and they took the time to care for my pet which probably caused a delay for another appointment. When I have to wait, I know that someone else's pet is getting the attention they need. They have treated at least 25 of my pets/rescues over the past 25 years. I have been to other vets in the past, but Highland Vet has treated all my pets with the best care, surgeries, and compassion at the end. Thank you all for your speedy prescriptions, knowledge, and the best care for my pets. They are so good with my Lucy who is going blind and has many issues. Thank you for the tips for Bosco who has a lot of Border Collie energy and behaviors. Thanks for caring!”
“They were very caring and compassionate. My daughter's hamster had passed in his sleep from being very sick. And, they were very gentle with him and giving her some of his hair. Some people were being very mean about it telling her to just flush him but, she's an animal lover of all shapes and sizes and, she was determined to get him cremated. We are waiting on his ashes to come back now. I appreciated the time and care they had for her and her loss with her hammy.”

“Nice people but didn't expect such a long wait having had an appointment. I arrived 10 min early as instructed. 12:20 pm. And still had to wait behind 5 other pets. Got out at 1:10pm for a single microchip injection which took 1 min.”
“All staff including Doc went above and beyond to help me. Had back surgery and they came to the car and got my cat Meathead. The price was also with in reason to help me financially since I’m on disability.

“I used to take my dog to valley animal hospital. She is an anxious girl and gives vets and techs a run for their money. Valley animal hospital was not accommodating and would give up quickly when it came to drawing blood and vaccines. Banfield staff was so patient, accommodating, and did not give up on Ellie! They completed blood work and showed Ellie love and patience throughout the whole experience. We are now loyal both a customer and patient.”

“They were prompt and I feel they treated my cat kindly and took care of the issue. They didn't try to push unnecessary shots and tests which I really appreciate. My only criticism is that neither the assistant nor the vet said hello or introduced themselves. I had to ask the assistant if she was the vet and she said no that the vet would be in next. When she came in she immediately started examining my cat with no introduction. Maybe Im old fashioned but I like to be introduced and know the name of the person I am dealing with. LP”
