I had a registered package that was to be delivered today (8/7/14). The carrier walked within 20 ft. of me when I was working in the yard. She never asked me for a signature. She never rang the door bell, I could have hear it. I watched her put 2 letters in the mail box, punch something in an electronic gadget and leave. 3 minutes later I checked the tracking and it said out for delivery. 10 minutes later the tracking said failed delivery, no signature. I never even saw a package when she was at my mail box 20 ft from me. The online tracking said notice was left for no delivery. There was no notice. Is there any doubt why people feel the USPS has lousy service?
