“Love stopping in at Retro. It's like walking into your childhood. Just in on Saturday, and I always find something that catches my eye. Very friendly and helpful. I'll be back soon?”

“I have always had good experiences here. Never had a rude employee or an issue with them standing behind something that malfunctioned. Bought 2 things from them that had issues and contacted the manufacturer told them how I got it and the manufacturer said thanks for buying our product we will send you the part you need for FREE....bought a Milwaukee set for 75% and it's worked perfectly for over a year now of regular use. Give these folks a chance if you are a thrift shopper and like local businesses!”

“This place is so cute! It's like shopping in a boutique at much lower prices. The clothing is great quality & the staff is super nice. Love that they have wares from local artists, too!”

“I've been coming to babyland since I was a kid coming with my mom. I don't like to shop anywhere else. I have nine children and a ton of clothes is required to clothe these nine kids lol. Babyland allows for my kids to be in the latest fashion, nicest quality, for a fraction of the price. There is no sale or outlet or clearance that beats babyland. The staff is fantastic! And even better when my kids outgrow the clothes that I buy there I can bring them back and sell what doesn't fit them anymore!!! I recommend babyland to everyone I always have and I always will. Don't waste your time anywhere else. You'll be happy you made the trip!”

“Great place to treasure hunt, from practical to unique. And the proceeds support low cost spay and neuter assistance in our community. Located here since the early 1980's, a testament to the dedication of SNAP, a local non- profit. #spayneuteryourpets”

“I have been in this store multiple times and it is awesome! There are multiple rooms with something for everyone. It is so fun to browse, and they have a lot to offer - old, new, and vintage. The owner is always so nice and greets you as you come in the door to tell you what the current sales are...and she makes herself available to help if you are looking for anything in particular. I highly recommend it! It's on Cleveland Avenue NW across from Quonset Hut.”

“When I meet individuals who are trustworthy, honest, and sincere, and treat you like an old friend they have known for years, even though it's the first time they met you, I feel they deserve recognition. Sonny and his wife are just good people. Not only did Sonny keep his commitment for a more than fair price on a piece of audio equipment he said he would hold for me (even though he continued to get emails from others offering to pay much more), but once I got to his shop to pick the unit up, went out of his way to make me feel at home, even on a Saturday when his store is closed.Sonny had to unload an entire trailer of estate furniture, yet still made time for me and two of his grandchildren who were visiting. They obviously love their Grandpa!Although I didn't have time today to walk through his well-organized store loaded with unique furniture, tools and antiques, my wife and I will be heading back soon. When we are ready to sell some antiques from my recently deceased mother-in-law, or want to buy some specialty items, I'm calling Sonny!”

“One of my favorite places to shop with my 92 year old grandma. Although some of the prices are a lil too high, considering most everything is donated, there is a lot of awesome stuff there and sometimes you can find amazing deals. Staff are also pretty awesome which makes the experience well worth it.”

“Beautifully organized. A worker over heard what I was looking for, while I was being distracted by my rowdy 4 yr old and she she quickly came over to help and was so nice!! ♡ Will be back!”

“I like shopping at Goodwill and thrift stores, some are good and some aren’t, like anything else. This particular store has a lot of brand new clothes at really good prices. Yesterday 3/5/23, was the first time I visited here and I was impressed, they had a pink tag 50% off sale and I was able to get a beautiful brand new two piece suit, 3 ties, a pair of pants and a Columbia coat for $42.00, all new items, so there’s some great deals to be found here, it’s a large store so allow yourself some time to look through everything.”

“They padlock the dressing rooms now ?They DO close them down at 5:30 As well as begin to wind down so they can close at 6. I absolutely LOVE this thrift store, though. They have organized by sizes and styles now to make it a little bit easier. You still have to look through items, though, which IS part of the thrill/hunt.”

“You have to be in the mood to sort thru stuff. One man's junk is someone's treasure. I did think it was funny how they talked to us like we were " unruly kids", when they break to put out more mdse. It felt like I was a race horse. If you tell someone over and over not to " run"...well guess what. Just made me laugh. Prices are cheap.”
