The customer service is absolutely horrible. You're going to wait 20-30 min just to speak to someone that can barely speak English. I couldn't even understand what the customer service was saying ?!! This company is horrible. They make billions of dollars so you would think that they would hire English speakers to answer English phone calls but they don't!!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. every month They have fees on my account that shouldnt be there and seem to not be able to get it right . Currently have a phone that is now texting on two different numbers and has been for 2 month and they won't resolve it ....they will scam you into contract without telling you then add a bunch of random fees months later .seriously by far the worst phone company I've dealt with .SCAM ARTIST,TERRIBLE SERVICE,HIDDEN FEES AND CONTRACTS. DONT GO TO VERIZON YOULL PAY TRIPLE WHAT YOU SHOULD

Purchased a third party phone and brought in to transfer service. I was told there was a $30 fee. Agreed to pay it. DO NOT PAY THIS. They simply opened an app and let the storage transfer. I was told it takes at least 2 hours to wait. I told the lady I'll do it myself and take my money back if that's all they do. Verizon policy to take your money and not tell you why. This store and that lady employee should be ashamed.

Chad, in the Newphiladelphia location is the best! He is always willing to go above and beyond for his customers. I hope if anyone ever needs help they ask for him. The best employee in that store hands down!

I would of rated this place lower if I could, I went here this morning around 9:15-9:30am and was met at the door by a man whom asked what I needed help with...I said help to know if my contracts were done on the my two phones I have...he took my phone number and said I needed to wait....then while waiting he said he needed my ID...I said I didn't have it and never needed it before after having service with them for over 20 years!! He insisted...I said fine...I will just leave and maybe just cancel service with them...he didn't care....so I went to the other location 1216 w. High ave in new philadelphia ....what a complete difference in customer service!! I was greated at the door ...I explained why I was there and they answered all my questions and treated me with respect....Thank you, Ryan Ahmer!!! I will be back here for all my phone needs.

In an era when sacrificing your lunch break to receive even mediocre service through an 800 number following a 40 minute hold time, this AFTER having driven to, waited, and eventually connected with a real person in a local store the night before who just ended up providing the same 800 number you’ve already tried and were unable to connect with due to their insanely limited hours - but with the bonus of an alternately incredulous then dismissive attitude - would be considered a win, Verizon cooperate should be counting their lucky stars for employees like Jeff, Kyle, Samantha and Allan. In my opinion, these people deserve thanks, recognition, bonuses, and probably a raise from Verizon.Despite the fact that transferring our cell service from Sprint to Verizon has been a daunting task with roadblocks along the way, I am still making time to leave a 5 star review due solely to the impeccable service I have received from the aforementioned people at this store. In this review, it would not be possible to adequately convey the level of character and professionalism I have seen them all consistently demonstrate; suffice it to say that they provide the textbook definition of grade A customer service. I can see that the positive, respectful tone is set by the store’s manager, Jeff, who was unfailing respectful and kind to both customers and employees throughout the barrage of issues he dealt with while also assisting me throughout my 2 hour, peak business hours visit.If you appreciate personalized, focused, informed customer service, this is the store to visit. Does it cost a little more than T-Mobile? Yes. Is it worth it? Absofreakinglutely!!

They sold me insurance on my new Moto Z4 and when my screen cracked I called the insurance company and they told me they did not repair that type of a phone and wanted to sell me a new phone instead of repair the one I had. The only thing that was wrong with my phone was the screen cracked when I dropped it everything else worked fine. The employees of Verizon store in New Philadelphia Ohio need to go back to school and learn how to sell the proper insurance for what you have they also told me that all I had to do was call the company and they would send somebody out to fix my phone which they did not because they did not work on that type of a phone.

Was referred to this office by corporate to expedite transfer of service. Was directed to an associate that was too busy to get off her cell phone to look into the issue. It was easier to say, "the corporate store did not have the authority to perform such actions." I called transfer services at corporate and I was assisted. Save yourself gas, time, and disappointment ?.
