We had a hot water tank go bad and long story short, we had a plumber who was going to install whatever replacement we purchased. We had no idea what we were doing, this was the first time we'd dealt with something like this. We were interested in a tankless setup and spoke to one of the folks here who cautioned us against it. He gave us a myriad of reasons why it simply wouldn't work. Talked us into getting a tank similar to the one we'd had.When the plumber got there to install the new tank he told us that the Home Depot guy had no idea what he was talking about and that he himself had a tankless setup and loved it. At that point we just wanted hot water in our house again so we lived with the regular tank. I feel like I'm being generous with the three star rating. You trust the employees who work in a particular department because you assume they have some idea of what they're talking about. Sucks when you find out that's simply not the case.

Did not have a kitchen designer on duty who could sell me cabinets. Did not have an employee in the store who knew you can get cabinet depths in 3 inch increments or that vanity depth is 21 inches.

Ordered a $1,000.00 door on November 11th, 2023. They said it was in on 12/7. Ordered a black door with glass, got a solid red door. They said they cannot expedite the replacement, and now I have to wait until January 10th to get a new door (I'm sure it won't get cold in December and January). Tried customer service number and they not only were not a help, they "accidentally" dropped my call (twice) when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Mistakes happen, but you should fix them in a timely manner and not ignore customer concerns.

I would give this store 0 stars if I could. I went in to the Newark, Ohio store and had them ship a specific hot water heater to the store. They said they would call when it's in. I had to call them, they told me that the hot water heater wasn't ordered and that I did the process incorrectly. One of their workers took me through the process, thank you home Depot for the amazing hiring you obviously do

No one ever seems to give you the right info what isle something is in. And then they don't know products well enough to help you. That's why I do not ask. I find it on my own.

First I wanna start off with mentioning how great of an experience my last trip to Home Depot was yesterday 9/28/2023. As a local small business owner there are never enough hours in the day and everyday comes with it's own set of problems . And twice yesterday on 2 separate trips to Home Depot , Management and Staff went above and beyond there job title to remedy major issues that could have had negative consequences not just to myself but my co workers, my clients, and so on and so on. Kate & Andrew at the Newark location showed me compassion, empathy and most importantly at 10pm when there shift is over they went out of there way to personally stay after hours to help a complete stranger that was visibly in need of a helping hand. And both Kate and Andrew did so with humility, and sincerity , and for no other reason than to help someone in need. We could all learn a lot from Kate and Andrew. Thaks again.

Horrible! The common sense days are over. Anything, I mean anything customer service is a joke. After circle-jerking with they robot line for half an hour with the depot-phone robot I realized I am back were I started. NOWHERE!!!!!!! . They (as in a worthless robot) actually transfered me to a human. ?. So I thought .....the never answered the fickin' phone! Word of advice, it was faster to drive 22 miles one way,, than ask a simple question. I will be avoiding home Depot from here on our. Moving forward, the actual one person customer service suck at the store too. It took me less time to drive there and write this review when all I needed was a two line question and 5minutes. Booo giving just 1star was to much!!!!!

Friendly, professional, organized customer services. Im a self contractor, I mainly do drywall related jobs, and for a year home depot is the only store I shop at for materials.
