Jill and Kris greeted me and after walking around not sure what I actually wanted, one of the girls, previously mentioned, came over and helped me decide which tree was suited for my needs! Absolutely love the light blue spruce color and size!! At check out, they both were very helpful explaining to me all I needed to know about the tree and a few plants that I was purchasing, then offered a “surprise discount”. “I love to visit this place ?! The flowers and plants are very nice and well kept and the inside store is very interesting to browse through. There is a religious section with bibles, covers, and other church items. I always enjoy going there and most always find what I am looking for.”

“They have a lot of shrubs and trees in their outdoor area and flowers, hanging baskets, perennials, and houseplants in the inside greenhouse. They also have pots, soil, fertilizers, garden accessories, etc. inside the store. I've found their prices are a little higher but the quality is very good and I've shopped there for years!”

“We get our seedlings here every year. It is the only place around that has Carolina Reapers available for purchase. They are knowledgeable on what you need for what you are doing and their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for flowers and produce plants.”

“I always stop there for my trees, bushes and other plants. They are friendly, concerned with helping you, no matter what you need. They planted a weeping red bud 3 years ago. It's beautiful. Many compliments on it. Stop and look around. Helps its about 3 miles from me also! Just look at the neighborhoods yards. You'll see many trees, bushes and flowers from them. We love shopping there!”

“I just wanted to send a shoutout to Christine who went above and beyond to get me the light bulbs I wanted today. I grabbed the last box off the shelf and found her to see if they had more stored somewhere else. At first she thought they were out but she checked again and found a box on an unopened pallet in a different aisle. She then got a lift operator to get it down for me and searched through the pallet to find the exact box I needed. Great customer service! So appreciated.”

Our experience online w deliveries as well as with staff at the Portage location has been exceptional. So excellent that we've shifted all of our preferred business to Home Depot. They are substantially better in the customer service- STAFFING- and helpfulness than Lowe's and our experience is great!”
