It is considered a great asset to the community, in part for hiring special needs teens and adults, which is highly commendable. The prepared foods, like fully cooked barbecue ribs, are noted as fantastic and awesome, with customers stating they would purchase them again and again. However, a criticism involves the store's digital coupon system, where clipped coupons have been removed before their expiration date, which some feel is cheating customers. Despite this, the store receives strong support and is seen as a place that should be in more locations.

I wholeheartedly support Giant Eagle because they hire 'special needs' teens and adults! This is highly commendable, and they have my full respect. Aside from that, they always have a great selection of almost anything you could want in a full service supermarket. A great asset to the community!

I was here visiting from texas and my sister in law has been telling us about giant eagle because this is where she does some of her shopping all I can say is Giant Eagle should be in Texas as well
