“Phenomenal selection for a small market. Expansive selection, multiple Asian ethnic varieties, but primarily Chinese. Also, meats, seafood (frozen) fresh vegetables, including specialties unavailable at American groceries. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. As I cook Asian frequently, I visit once or twice a week. Highly recommended. While there may be a few neutral or negative ratings, that has not been my experience. A real plus: parking is literally a few meters from the entrance, especially convenient.”

“Wen’t to Tost on Madison first and they were packed. I asked the lady which counter to order at because people were literally standing all around and I wasn’t sure. She snapped at me that I need to wait. So we left because what in the world?We came to K&K market. They immediately said “Hi! Please take a number today.” Then boom boom boom every employee was trying to help and it was so nice. I come here a lot, but today was just super sweet. It made my day. Thanks k&k!Oh and ended up getting stuff for dinner too. I can not say enough good things about this market.”

Moon and his father who started the business are by far the nicest people in Lakewood that own a store.However I understand it is hard to get help these days but I’m to the point if I don’t see Moons truck I Will not stop in .There is one or two girls that work there that should not be dealing will the public.They appear to hate there job and it shows.The redhead if she still works there complains every time I want lottery and half the time she gets it wrong.The only reason I still patronize the store is because Moon and his family are such a great people.”

“Went last night for a quick cocktail inside with the husband. Came here to write this review specifically for the barmaid. This gal ran a full bar, served food, cleaned up after the patrons, and serviced the drive thru (approx 5-10 cars)in the 35min we were there. On. her. own! Great job!! Of note- add tip before they run your card at cash out, we had cash so it ended up not being an issue, but good to know.”

“This is such a cute place tucked into a neighborhood off Lake Road. If you aren't looking for it, you'll almost miss it. They have a small dine-in area inside and a cute patio outside. They have a small menu of sandwiches and sides and a wall of wine. When I stopped in they were offering a Rosé slushie. It was by far the best version of a Rosé slushie I have tasted. The owner is very friendly and gives great wine recommendations based on flavor profiles you like and has a good variety in stock.”
