130 Front St, BereaI've been going to Mike's Bar & Grille in downtown Berea for a couple of years now, and every time I'm in town I make it a point to stop in. I always look forward to trying their Burger of the Month and whatever new beers they have on tap or cans. The food is consistently good. They also do a nice job rotating monthly specials. They're very pup-friendly too, which has us excited to bring our Goldens along when we make the cross-country drive in the RV this summer. Solid food, great drinks, and a welcoming neighborhood spot. Highly recommend if you're in the Berea area!

561 W Bagley Rd, BereaIt's almost like being at home . . . the staff is friendly, greet everyone, knowledgeable and helpful. There is obviously a lot of regular customers and most of the waitresses know exactly what you are probably going to order. Marissa is, obviously, a customer favorite. I have been there different days and she greets everybody by name.
The menu is extensive but not rigid. For example, their BLT comes on sourdough (I think) but they will do it in a wrap. The breakfast quesadilla is delicious (get it with the chorizo sausage) and you can add more to it than what is on the menu. You want a tuna melt but on a different bread, no problem!
The only complaint I have is that the restaurant is always cold (winter/spring/summer/fall). Always cold.

Grindstone Tap House
826 Front Street, BereaFirst visit here. Liked the layout. Two separate seating/ dining areas with bar in the middle. They have a nice stage for bands. I sat on the other side of restaurant opposite stage but had a clear view of the performers. They also have an outside seating area. I tried the chicken wings. They were pretty good. The service was excellent. Haley was very prompt and attentive. Very good service. I will definitely go back to try some more food from the menu and to see live entertainment.
