“Nice shop. I just so happened to be in the area and had time to waste. Stopped in for a few questions. Answered all my questions. Very friendly. Not only answered my questions, but gave some suggestions. Was told there's a store closer. Will definitely give them a try for next summer.”
“REVISED: It was resolved quickly and satisfactory. Thank you.
I purchased what I thought were all hybrid tea roses and one of them was miss marked. Showed perfume factory only to find out it is a small single petal bush rose. I tried calling but could only leave a message.”
“I love this place, very unique pieces, decorations. That's the place to shop for Halloween or Christmas decorations. Not a cheap place to shop but if you are looking for something unusual and unique, that's the right store for you!”
“My second time shopping at Uncle John’s and I couldn’t have been more pleased once again. This time I was trying to purchase a live house plant arrangement to take to a funeral home for a family member because I was appalled at what florists charge for house plants. It warmed my heart to be able to pick the pot, The ribbon And all five plants and watch it all come together and pick a card to put in a spike, too. Emma worked with me for almost an hour to create this sympathy gift and they charge $10 to put it all together. Emma was great. I don’t think I’ll use a florist ever again. I even think this helped with my grief.”
“OMG they have the most beautiful pots and planters I've ever seen. And inside the store are gorgeous big lawn wind decorations. They were out of Japenese Beetle Traps, so I bought an adorable glass Hummingbird feeder! My Husband should know better than to send me alone to a store!”
“We needed a U-haul to go from Ohio to Texas on short notice. Mike was able to not only procure the shipment, but it arrived in excellent condition. Excellent customer service! Thank you!”
“I've been a regular customer at Canterbury Creek Gardens and I can honestly say it is one of my favorite places to shop for plants.
Ron and Barb are incredibly knowledgeable and have taught me a tremendous amount about gardening. They take the time to answer questions, explain why things work, and share their experience. As someone who enjoys learning, I appreciate that more than I can say.
The plants are consistently healthy, vigorous, and well cared for. The quality is noticeably better than what I've found at many larger garden centers. When I buy plants here, I have confidence that they're going to thrive.
What I value most is that this is a local business run by people who are genuinely passionate about gardening. Their advice has helped me become a better gardener, and their products have never disappointed me.
I won't go anywhere else. Highly recommended.”
“You get what you pay for!!! This place is a little pricey but these plants are resilient little buggers! My husband and I are astounded that our dear clematis has bounced back from two near death experiences. The first was my son plucking every flower petal off and then it being neglected in the pot because it looked terrible. I had to fish it out of the garbage bin because my husband just wanted the ugly thing gone but I plucked it out and finally planted it late fall. The next Spring, it came back gracefully, then battled a hard blight over the summer and I had to chop most of it off. I tried Vitax Clematis feed and boom! This beauty has come back full force for a fall flush! You just can't find this quality from Lowes or Menards, etc. Spend the money if you want quality plants! Also, I highly recommend Vitax Clematis feed.”
“We bought our Christmas tree here. They had beautiful trees and reasonable prices. The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. We will definitely be back. Great place.”
“I had placed an online order for two sets of ceramic dishes for our anniversary party. They arrived with many pieces broken in each of the two boxes. I was really distraught about this (I cried big ugly tears), because this was a really special occasion for us. I didn't have enough time for a second order to arrive, nor did I have enough time to find something comparable locally. Josh was very calm and kind on the phone, even though I was not. He suggested a viable solution and gave me a refund. I wasn't thinking clearly at that moment, so his guidance was exactly what I needed. I have no way of knowing who was at fault for the breakage, but he made it right for me. Josh is a rock star!!”
“Always a great experience shopping at this Home Depot in Avon Ohio. Monday night I got there late, both Russel and Connor were able to point me in the right direction, cut my trim to the size I needed and followed up by helping me load my trailer . I was in and out of the store in record time.”
“Always have a good time at Home Depot I did have an issue the other day but through customer support and online and talking to all the managers I was able to resolve it and actually get me a free tool”
“1st time at this location and I was amazed on how big and neat the store is and all the different items the store carries like pet food and stuff. Cleaning items, kitchen items, etc .....”
“Needs a couple more handicap spots but it's a home Depot. The staff is friendly. The layout is different than some other stores but it's always labeled.”

“We just discovered this place and went to check it out. We needed low light plants and didn't know where to begin. The owner was so helpful and walked us around showing us what worked in our space. We will definitely be back!!!”
