“I needed to find some shelving material to add to my wife's closet and had no luck finding material 14 inches wide. Then I got the bright idea to just cut it out of 3/4 by 4 x 8 sheet of veneered plywood. Beautiful and inexpensive.I had the good fortune to call Toledo Plywood and spoke to Diane. To say she was helpful and kind would be a huge understatement. Diane was also very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without having to transfer me to someone else. Good luck finding that at Lowes or Home Depot. She told me they could fix me up in very short order. So I stopped by with a sketch of what I needed and this very nice guy cut my shelves out of that sheet, $1.00 a cut!! How can you beat that? He had my shelves cut in about 15 minutes and even loaded my vehicle. (I am elderly and need a walker to get around)I had planned on stopping by one of the big box stores to pick up the needed shelf pins but I asked another very pleasant guy if they by chance sold them and they did. I don't mind saying that service like this is hard to come by. It reminded me of what it was like shopping 50 years ago. They sell a lot of things other than just raw wood. Do yourself a favor, before you start your next project, stop by and give them look, you'll be glad you did.”

“Edit: Upon returning, I have updated my review. Their supplier is supposed to send the best quality wood available, but be careful some of it is not great. Take your time and check for flatness. The old man is still grumpy. The rest of the staff seem great.”
“Best company out there. They bring you some of the best concrete that’s tested and proven, plus it’s always on time. Not to mention the above and beyond representative's they have (Denny).”

“It's the day after Christmas, so most people were off. This led to people filling in and taking longer to place an order. Otherwise, it went well. We'll see how the order comes in.”
“Absolutely amazing place to rent equipment from. Highly recommend for big projects. Rates are fantastic. Matt gave us great customer service and the team was very helpful in loading and unloading equipment.”
“I made a delivery to these folks, and they blessed me with sandwiches, shrimp platter, cookies, and a bunch of other goodies, and drinks!!! ? Very nice people!!!”
“What the negative reviews probably don’t realize is that Fastenal isn’t a retail store like Home Depot or Lowe’s. Their company is an industrial/commercial account based business model that caters to contractors and corporations....not the general public. Fastenal “brick and mortar” stores also specialize in bulk sales, not typically someone looking for one nut or washer. They certainly offer help to “cash customers” via their website if they would like to order from the company.”
