“Every time I come into this Menards you always see the same people standing around not doing anything other than talking to each other. Within that same department you'll see other workers working their butt off stocking the shelves and putting stuff together. I would be more than willing to bet that the people standing around not doing anything unfortunately is part of management in some way and they feel like they don't have to do anything. I worked at a place like that once and I sure as heck didn't stick around because why does all of the workload have to fall down to the lowest level people? There's absolutely no reason why a worker in a department should be standing around talking to another worker when obviously there's work that needs to be done just by going in the back aisles and seeing all the stock sitting on pallets. 🤯 And yes that's the reason why you guys don't have five stars and the reason why every time I come in here it makes me want to rate you guys lower. I think whoever is in charge of the store really needs to walk around without the other workers knowing about it and really watch to see what's going on. Just because somebody is in charge of a department doesn't mean that they get to sit around while everybody else does the work. That's a good way to lose all of your good workers. ✌✌✌”

Pro tip: learn the 11% rebate strategy. Save rebate cards in a folder and stack them over time. One of my favorite homeowner moves is using rebate money toward another rebate promotion. Rebates earned with rebates still feels like a cheat code.

Then she loaded the wood we purchased, into the back of our car. My husband is in a sling from a recent shoulder surgery, so he was unable to do it himself. Carmella was so cheerful and kind.
