30 years I have been with them. I was a fool. NO MORE. They raise my bill constantly. I call to complain. They keep me on hold while they look into it. Usually for 1 to 2 hours. Then they lower it back to the 219.00 (which was still higher the the 177.00 from 6 months ago) and tell me I'm locked in for 2 years. And a month later they raise it again to 250.00. This has been almost a monthly occurrence for the past 3 years . ... on October 6 at 2pm 2025 I had enough. I called to cancel my service. They kept me on the phone for 3 hours and REFUSED TO LET ME CANCEL. YES ACTUALLY REFUSED TO LET ME CANCEL.
They said my bill would go back to 219.00 and would be locked in till October 2027. This months bill. 250.00 again.
This for low end internet and BASIC cable.
As a P&T DISABLED VETERAN, I find their fraud inexcusable.
Avoid this company or fall prey to this same tactic myself and every other reviewer here has warned ⚠️ you off.
Zero stars. . They should be fined for the fraudulent practices and promises

In the last 6 mos the internet is constantly down.
is this ever going to taken care of! Had many service calls with still no resolution! They keep saying they are working on the problem and outages are be coming more frequent. I think it’s really time to change carriers after 40 years you would think you would get better service and customer service! Yikes going in the wrong direction indeed!

Went for wifi pods and was greeted at the door by Norman who helped me through the process he was very nice and helpful and made the visit very pleasant Thanks again for great service

The WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I changed my phone, and they basically are not able to give me a electric sem, and they asked me to change my number• The more basic thing one internet provider should be able to do is this! They couldn't explain me the reason why they can't keep my number• we still have internet with them, but after all these experiences, thinking about switching.

Sat in this store for 45 minuets while some lady kept asking the same questions over and over. So frustrating. All I need ed to do was pick up some equipment. There has to be a better way of managing time.

I had Cox home internet for two years. The low rating is not because of this store. They were all very nice and helpful when I came in to return my equipment and pay off the reminder of my bill. My two star rating is because of the internet service and cost.
When I signed up with Cox two years ago I was quoted $50 per month for my internet. I was never told it was only a two year promotion. They told me it was locked in and I would always pay the same. Around two months ago when I hit my two year mark I logged into the app and say my bill was $120. How does one’s bill go all the way from $50 to $120. That’s crazy! Especially when I was told this would not happen when I signed up. Even if it were to go up I could see maybe $5-$10, but we are talking almost triple.
I called immediately and they said there was nothing they could do. Even with me being a loyal customer and paying on time every month for two years. Instead they recommended that I go down to the next plan and explained it would be cheaper. Even jumping down a plan my bill was $72. So not only was I paying $22 more, but will a lower plan.
So I cancelled my service online last night and returned the equipment today. All of a sudden after the fact I cancelled and came to return my equipment today the guy here mentioned I could get home internet service and a cell phone for $85. Why was I not offered this before?? Online last night or when I called around two months ago about my monthly bill going up??
Well, it’s too bad now because I already have my AT&T fiber and my new phone with AT&T (I’ve been a mobile customer with them six years). My bill with them is $120 including home internet and my cell phone which also has protective insurance. My internet is $45 for having a mobile phone already (which will not go up, that’s the discount for already having a mobile account), then my cell phone is $75.
That’s crazy that you all do people like that. Exactly why I would never come back. Even if I do pay slightly more with AT&T with faster internet service.
Future reference: your company should let customers know when they are signing up that it is just promotional and that their bill will nearly triple after the period ends. That should be illegal. Especially since the fact o specially asked about that when I signed up and was told it wouldn’t change. Smh
I see that you guys have many negative reviews. So I’d be looking into that and find a more honest way of doing business. Word travels fast.

Scheduled for internet and guy arrived and banged on the door.Go to open the door and he's in the back yard. Never introduced himself. Handed me the modem and asked where it was going. Informed him he had to set up coax cable. Asked him if he would like some water and how his day was going and he said good up until now. Had an attitude from the get so I handed him the modem and canceled the service.
