Every time I call I get someone that speaks broken English I can't understand them and whatever I say they twist it around and half of the time they don't know or understand what your telling them and your phone call ends up being an hour long and you really don't ever get your problems resolved! I got a call from cox that they were gonna pick up my Wi-Fi box and I had to be home from 2pm to 5pm waiting for them and I never got a call nor did they ever show up and so I called Cox about it and the person on the other end of the phone didn't understand what I was saying and I could barely understand what they were saying to me and apparently they never made an appointment with me to pick up the box but they honestly did call me! And there prices suck also! Thanks

3 days of unstable internet. They say they fixed the issue. 2 days later, issue returns. Contact support. First agent disconnected from me (Lachano P.... Great guy! Lovely customer service.) 2nd agent I got could barely speak English. After repeating my issues 4 times and informing them that the issue is related to an outage 2 days ago since it's the same issue as during the outage, I was repeatedly told "We're not authorized to transfer the chat" and "we can't do that"Unreliable service.Horrible customer support outsourced to Indians, of course.Terrible terrible and I repeat once more- TERRIBLE COMPANY! If you have any other provider with decent speeds in your area, PLEASE AVOID COX AND GO WITH THEM!!!ALTERNATIVES:If you're in area where only COX offers a good speed, look up T-Mobile 5G Home Internet. Price is great, speeds are quite decent too. Better than any other provider in my area besides Cox... And Cox can suck a cox, I'm switching! Their customer service is too awful.

Not the place. Just the internet itself. Stay away. Stay far far away. It is down often, at least has been recently. Quick question Cox, who’s paying for my phone’s data plan OVER usage as some of us have to work late from home?

We haven't even had Cox for a full year and there have been 4 outages, all occurring in the middle of the day. I work from home, this is UNACCEPTABLE! Unfortunately, they are our only choice for internet in our area. I will switch as soon as possible.

They don't care about customers that have been with them for many years. They jack the rates up and give only new customers the deals. Almost 400.00 per month. Only when I cancelled is when they tried to lower the rates. So done with this company

This is the worst telecommunications company on the face of the planet. The packages they offer are terrible. They randomly raise the price on all subscribers, their customer service is mediocre at best. None of the online functions such as sign up and updating your plan actually work. They put alerts on your account page telling you to chat with customer support only for the customer support person to tell you that nothing was wrong. Unfortunately Cox is the only provider in my area and they take full advantage of that fact. Hurry up and run lines, Spectrum. This company is actively going out of their way to screw their customers. If they ever had to face competition from another provider, they'd be in for a rude awakening. The only people who like this company are people who've never had another provider and dont know better.

All went well except for the Rep adding a monthly service plan to my order, as well as a $35 monthly fee until I connected my new device. I was subsequently able to eliminate those charges. Nevertheless I will continue to be a customer, at least for the time being.

I have been a long time customer of Cox communications. Recently, however, I think they are a bit out of touch with their customers. When I called to renew they told me there were no plans that included unlimited internet. I had to pay $50 a month extra if I wanted unlimited internet. I found a different provider with a much better deal and since I've switched more consistent speed. The pricing was outrageous this time with Cox communications. The worst part of it is that when I went into return my equipment the person said I should have come to the local office as they could have given me an unlimited package and a much better deal. Let there be a lesson. Never call Cox communications customer service. If you have a local office, go there. If not, don't use them.

For how much they charge you'd think you'd get good internet service. Instead it slows to a crawl pretty much every evening and weekend to the point its literally unusable. It slows to 0.1-5mbps. Let me repeat that 0.1-5 roughly 0.5% of the advertised speed.. Forget about online gaming or streaming shows whenever you want. Just a basic google search is asking too much half the time and thats not even mentioning all the outages.

Terrible service @ Cox Cable ever since the company became a "cash cow" for some conglomerate. Rotten "guide" & nearly impossible to get repairs when required. Won't carry public access listed, either. Awful monopoly!

If you need assistance, do not call customer service; call the store. Customer service would not let me downgrade my service. All they try to do is sell you on 'promotions' even if you don't need it. And then, don't let you downgrade after trying to sell you on it. I spent hours with them and then just called the store. Got what I needed in a minute.

Steve assisted us and he was incredible. I was, like many people are, decreasing services-getting rid of landline and cable- as we never use those services. First, I called the Cox number and was connected to "Clarissa" ( don't know if this is her real name). And she quoted me a rather high price for continuing internet service. Admittedly, we use alot of data...hello, streaming/ gaming, why-we-no-longer-need-basic cable reason. And she informed me that I had to return the cable boxes and controllers (fine...had 'em ready) AND the telephone tower. Wait, what telephone tower?! The, it'll cost you $200 if you don't return it so I suggest you look around better ( snippy "Clarissa") telephone tower. What does it look like.... " a tower". Thanks, helpful. I was told that I can FedEx my cable boxes, controllers, and currently missing telephone tower and then they would be happy to revisit my wish to decrease services. Well, no thank you, "Clarissa". So, I hopped in the car and went to the Cox store on Plaza Dr, and that's where I met Steve, our hero. Who, within the first minute told me what I already knew..... that I never had a telephone tower ( she never looked at your equipment page because it gives a list of what you were given) and he found a discount that applies to me bring down my continued high speed internet by nearly $40. I love Steve. ❤️ Steve. Way to go, Steve!!!! Moral of the story, it may be more convenient to deal with life over the phone-remotely- but sometimes it pays to go outside and interact with actual people. And, Steve ROCKS. Be a Steve, don't be a "Clarissa ".

The fact that I pay $180 for internet service and they refuse to give me a modem and not a modem/router combo without phone service is ridiculous. So I would have to pay extra for a service I won’t use to be able to use my own equipment????????????????????? If you have any other option as an internet provider run there as fast as you can.
